The AUTP is an independent body, whose principal aim is to promote the effective learning and teaching of psychiatry to medical undergraduates in the medical schools of the UK and Ireland trhough educational meetings. Membership of the organisation is open to all staff that have a role and an interest in teaching psychiatry, regardless of their own academic discipline.
