WE DELIVER THIS EFFECTIVE TOOL TO CHILDHOOD CANCER CENTRES ACROSS THE UK.

To promote the relief of people who have, or who have had cancer, and their families and carers across Gloucestershire, by the provision of a range of person-centre holistic therapies and support within our Centres, and also to develop home visits for people with cancer to reduce isolation and promote friendship.

Speakeasy helps people with aphasia - a communication difficulty caused by stroke or other head injury. We also offer practical help and advice for families and carers of people with aphasia.

Premises offering care for the elderly, group for the alcohol dependency of a family member, babies & toddlers group where parents/carers can meet and learn from each other, activities for children and young people including Christian uniformed organisations, fundraise for international, national & local organisations & support bereaved/distressed.

Number 11 is a lifeline for individuals in our community struggling with a variety of issues, from difficulties with debt and benefits through to isolation, unemployment, bereavement or mental illness. Our focus is on a person centred sustainable approach. Number 11 is a family, so in addition to our workshops or one-to-one support we emphasise eating, playing, laughing and doing life together.

The project is working with women in their time of crisis across the Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole areas. It is currently offering one-to-one support, self-development training, and group community activities to women, helping them rebuild their lives. 85% of beneficiaries are escaping abusive relationships and many have additional mental health support needs. We also run a community cafe.
