The Charitys main purpose is to relieve sickness and protect mental health through the provision of therapeutic horticulture to those with, or vulnerable to, mental health problems and to protect physical health through encouraging horticulture related physical activity and by promoting healthy eating to individuals and organisations.

We help children with disabilities in the impoverished Teso region of Uganda by funding nourishment, orthopaedic and plastic surgery in Kumi Hospital, mobility items (such as wheelchairs) and education. We help their families by building houses for the homeless, providing safe fuel-saving stoves and helping parents (especially mothers) to generate an income. We help others to help themselves.

Supporting older people in Kensington and Chelsea; promoting healthy living and lifestyles; encouraging community cohesion; reducing isolation among the older community; providing over 150 free activities annually which include physical, creative and mentally stimulating, learning and health-related activities focusing on prevention.

Women Arise ministries are a team of women volunteers from 15 different churches. Our primary role is to share the love of God, build and encourage women of varying age, race and cultures. We are a supportive network to women in their spiritual walk and daily challenges. Our activities include: Women's Meetings, Conferences, Time Away, Training, Mentoring and Prayer and Listening Surgery.

The charity supports bereaved parents through providing access to therapy/counselling free of charge; activities/services to help them remember their child that has died; and activities to help them remember to look after their emotional well-being. We support children with cancer and life limiting conditions and their families by providing gifts and activities whilst receiving treatment.

Providing opportunities for regular social contact and for enriching the quality of life for the elderly and the isolated in the community (including young people with mental health, bullying or abuse issues), and providing housing and homeless support, crisis intervention, emergency funds, counselling, advocacy, bereavement support, etc.

We enable persons in East Hertfordshire and West Essex and the surrounding area as well as elsewhere who are experiencing feelings of distress or despair, including those who may be at risk of suicide, to receive confidential emotional support at any time of the day or night in order to improve their emotional health and reduce the incidence of suicide.

Dinas Powys Voluntary Concern provides a service to individuals, groups and organisations, in particular the elderly and people with disabilities. It does this by providing a community resource centre, running a wellbeing and befriending scheme, providing and maintaining a minibus-ambulance, publishing a free newsletter and community directory, offering support to local voluntary organisations.

The objective of the charity is to relieve individuals suffering from serious, terminal or life threatening illness and the families of such individuals by creating dreams and wishes for those individuals who are seriously or terminally ill to create special memories for them and their families. The charity operates primarily in the South Yorkshire region.

The Charity supports the families and staff on the Neonatal Unit at King's Mill Hospital and SCBU at Bassettlaw Hospital, Nottinghamshire. It provides practical and emotional support to families who have a baby on the unit for example through the provision of Welcome Packs, bus vouchers, meal vouchers and counselling. It also supports staff well-being and funds additional staff training.
