The object of the League is to support the charitable work of the Clevedon Hospital. The Charity supplements the service provided by the hospital for the health, welfare and comfort of the patients therein and in the community, by the provision of facilities, building and equipment which may be required for the treatment of patients, or for the efficient running of the hospital.

We take part in concerts, where all proceeds are for charity. At christmas time we visit hospitals locally, and also the main hospital in the area, Nevil Hall, Abergavenny. We visit all the wards as possible.

TOOLS OF THE TRADE - a bursary to young people who are setting up or learning a trade, either by apprenticeship, further or university education. The Object of the Association is to relieve patients and former patients of the Whitchurch Hospital and other invalids in the Community who are sick, convalescent, disabled, handicapped, infirm or in need of financial assistance and, generally, to support the charitable work of the said Hospital.

Provide support for ' Seachange ' Budleigh Salterton ( formerly Budleigh Salterton Hospital ) . Provide support via grants to other organisations in the local area that can improve the health and wellbeing of the local community.

Contribute to the general comfort and well being of patients at Ysbyty Bryn Beryl, Pwllheli

Weekly exercise and relaxation sessions for persons in Stockton, Billingham and Hartlepool with heart and circulatory conditions. Sessions led by BACPR level 4 qualified tutors. Sharing experiences in group discussions and social events provide practical support. Referrals from hospitals and GPs etc. and by self-referral with authorisation of fitness for exercise. Family and friends welcome.

Mental wellbeing workshops in schools, prisons, hospitals and other adult settings. We offer two highly interactive sessions: Core, which introduces our SCALES model (Sleep, Creative, Active, Listen, Earth, Social); and Encore, which takes a deeper dive into these concepts and offers more detail. All people may benefit from our work, but it is especially effective for Year 5 pupils.

The band plays many concerts to the public in our community throughout the year. We also perform some charity concerts, raising money for organizations such as the RNLI, Colchester and Ipswich Hospital Charity and The Royal British Legion. We compete at National Level at the Regional Area Championships and National Finals Brass Band Championships.

Heart Response exists to relieve poverty in Romania by providing grants, items and services to partner organisations. Certain grants are for recreational and leisure activities provided in the interest of social welfare and designed to improve conditions of life. Heart Response also exists to advance the Christian faith in the UK and Romania through outreach work in schools, hospitals and prisons.

Beeline Community Transport, which was set up in 1983, is based at The Partnership Centre, Atherstone and covers the whole of North Warwickshire. It has a team of volunteer drivers who use their own cars to provide a door-to-door transport service mainly to hospitals, clinics and other essential health services such as doctors' surgeries, chiropodists, dentists and opticians.
