THE OBJECT OF THE EDNA ADAN FOUNDATION IS TO ADVANCE HEALTH CARE, EDUCATION AND DIGITAL TECHNOLOGY IN SOMALILAND BY SUPPORTING THE WORK OF THE EDNA ADAN HOSPITAL AND EDNA ADAN UNIVERSITY.

ARCH aims to promote the relationship between the arts & medicine & educate the public in how these may be used to protect & preserve health. The charity arranges fundraising events which fund concerts for patients & staff in hospitals, hospices & old people's homes in England, Scotland & Wales, as well as supporting projects for children in deprived areas.

The charity has the general aim of raising money to support those extras, not covered by public funds, that make being poorly or in hospital and away from home more tolerable for children and their families.

Providing transport to and from hospital/ doctors' and general medical appointments, befriending, prescription collecting, shopping or dog-walking.

Milton Keynes Hospital Radio provides a 24 hours a day, 7 days a week broadcasting service to the patients within Milton Keynes General Hospital. We are a non-profit organisation relying on money raised through membership, funding raising & kind donations.

Providing transport to and from hospital, surgery and other health related appointments, shopping, collect prescriptions, pensions etc for the housebound, visiting the housebound for company or help with light tasks.

To provide help and assistance to needy previous patients of the Warneford General Hospital who have been transferred to the South Warwickshire General Hospitals NHS Trust and to patients now being treated by the South Warwickshire Hospitals.

We also help pay fees for some disadvantaged children.

To relieve patients and former patients of Molesey Hospital and other invalids in the community who are sick, convalescent, disabled, handicapped or infirm and generally to support the work of the hospital

Our main activities: 1.The prevention or relief of poverty and sickness in rural communities in Zimbabwe by providing or assisting in the provision of education2.The advancement of education for school age children: School fees and school equipment projects.3.The relief of sickness and preservation of health of people living in rural communities: hospital/ community facilities renovation.

The Leicestershire Neurological Trust provides funds for individuals within the university hospitals of Leicester to pursue individual educational and research activity in the area of neurological disease. It also funds equipment to enable individuals to pursue these activities.

To equip and train doctors to work voluntarily with the ambulance service at the scene of accidents, medical emergencies, major incidents and transport to hospital.Raise money for equipment and fund extended training for the doctors.To encourage extended training in immediate care for local GPs, nurses and paramedics.To encourage first aid training locally for members of the general public.

The Friends raise funds to conserve and maintain the Hospital Chapel of St. Mary & St. Thomas of Canterbury, the oldest building in the London Borough of Redbridge, cca 1145 AD.In addition to regular religious Services, we ensure the Chapel is open to the public byholding Open Days with guided tours, as well as concerts, recitals, history talks etc.

Our objectives are to assist in the relief of poverty and deprivation of orphans, primarily for providing housing, education ,healthcare and welfare. We have upgraded\are upgrading buildings at the orphanages in Ooty and Ketti and have completed a childrens HIV ward at St Xaviers Hospital, Namakka. We have arranged emergency food payment to cover spiraling food costs.

Within the Ecclesiastical Parish of Studley cash grants are paid to individuals and organisations to further the education and religious education of young people and for the relief of need generally in times of crisis. In support of their ancillary activities grants are paid to hospitals and homes for the elderly and the disabled. An annual maintenance grant is paid to the Parish Church.

Working locally, nationally ,and Internationally as part of Rotary International, the club responds to needs in the community and further afield as the occasions arise.
