To provide and improve upon the support, financial or otherwise, provided by the NHS for patients and their families of the Haematology and Transplant Unit (HTU) of the Christie Hospital.

Fundraising for hospital equipment. Serving refreshments to patients A.M. and P.M.

League for the period of 1.1.09 to 31.12.09, funded 48 concerts in the homes, give a Capita Grant of -ú25, so every resident received a Christmas present/party. In addition, in line with the Charity Commissions thought, we had a surplus of -ú3000 which we divided equally between the two trusts to re-fund, resulting in a wide variety of objects purchased for the benefit of the resident.

The purpose of the charity is to relieve the suffering of sick, injured and orphan wildlife and wherever possible to rehabilitate back to the natural habitat .The charity is also dedicated to the public benefit by the provision of education, welfare and rehabilitation of wildlife to relieve the suffering of wildlife and to encourage respect and tolerance in order to promote ethical conservation.

The objectives are: Relief of persons suffering from Hansens Disease (leprosy)Relief of the poor and most disadvantagedSupport of Hospices within the UKSupport of education

The trustees hold four regular quarterly meetings each year when the trustees consider applications referred to them from various local sources including local medical practices, the local hospital, Social Services, The Citizen Advice Bureau and other local charitable and voluntary organisations.

The Friends of the Rosie have been in existence for the past 50 years. Our aim is to raise money to buy comforts and equipment that the NHS cannot provide for mothers and babies both in the hospital and in the district. We run stalls selling knitted goods. We can always use any offers of help and new volunteers to support our work.

The aim of WOC UK is to educate and train personnel to treat and rehabilitate injured and disabled people in the developing world. Members of the association periodically travel to the countries in need of such help to conduct the programmes. In Cambodia funds are utilised for hospital construction. Current actives are in Ethiopia, Malawi & Ghana.

Preaching, and teaching the bible to local church members, evangelism, house fellowship centres, faith clinics, ministering to the sic at homes and hospital visitation, counselling and mentoring members, especially drugs and alcohol addicts, youths, and any other activities related to the church activities.

Llandudno Rotary club is a member of RIBI. Charity income is raised by Club Members activities in LLandudno area by organising collections at Christmas, Llandudno Extravaganza, and members donations. Donations and help given to local charities e.g. hospices, disable school, international charities, and Rotary Foundation

TO FOSTER COMRADESHIP AND TO PROVIDE WELFARE SUPPORT TO PRESENT AND FORMER MEMBERS OF THE ROYAL AIR FORCES, THEIR FAMILIES AND DEPENDENTS. WELFARE ACTIVITIES INCLUDE ASSISTANCE FOR INDIVIDUALS IN WELFARE NEED, HOME AND HOSPITAL VISITS, HELP IN OBTAINING FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE WHEN IN NEED, AND HELP WITH THE PROVISION OF NECESSARY TRANSPORT AND MOBILITY AIDS.

To give help to the need and distress of people with cancer or with other illnesses who can benefit from its services, and their families and friends. It does this through counselling, healing, relaxation, diet advice and supporting therapy work. Based in an appropriately equipped centre, all its work is complementary to the treatment given by patients' own doctors or hospitals.

Empower child education in the Gambia by donating stationary to schools.Sponsor victims of natural disasters. Promote health care by donating medical equipment to hospitals. Engage on fundraising events to fulfil the charity's humanitarian objectives. Promote the Gambian culture by organizing cultural events at a park or hall in the UK. Undertake yearly family trip to the UK seaside.

Making grants to organisations and people under 25 for general educational and sporting purposes in the parishes of Saxton, Sherburn in Elmet and South Milford. ( grants to individuals are not usually made unless there is some element of disability or handicap)

Grants are made twice a year to Southolt Church, Village Residents, Local Community Bus, Parish Newsletter(s), East Anglian Air Ambulance, EACH - East Anglian Children's Hospice and others based on need including grants in support of the Village Environment.

We raise money in the Falmouth and Penryn area for the benefit of patients - currently the advancement of health or saving lives, children and young people, elderlyand old and the general public.

FUND RAISING BY VARIOUS ACTIVITIES I.E. TEA PARTIES WITH BRING & BUY, CAKES STALLS, JUMBLE SALE ETC. VOLUNTARY WORK FOR LOCAL HOSPITAL, SHOPPING FOR PATIENT'S. SICK VISITING.

To provide a link between Hinchingbrooke Hospital and the community it serves and to raise funds and receive gifts for the purpose of supplementing, in such a manner as the Friends see fit,the services alresdy provided by the Hospital.

We raise funds - eg -Fayres, quizzes, coffee mornings, raffles, and also ask the public to support the LoF by arranging events to sraise money for the LoF. All proceeds are used provide items for service users at the Tamworth hospitals - i.e. Sir Robert Peel Hospital and the George Bryan Centre.

We conduct fundraising events on behalf of organisations in the Sierra Leonean community. We donate funds to organisations such as hospitals, churches, hospices and schools in order to enrich the standard and quality of life for fellow Sierra Leoneans
