Health Charities That specialise in Hospice

We organise events for hospitals, hospices, special needs residences, communal centres for the blind, prisons, using Greek music as therapy. The purpose of the Charity is:1) The promotion of Greek music, 2) The support of musicians and artists3) Outreach work4) Education work in both Greek and schools of all nationalities.

Making grants and donations to individuals, charities and other organisations mainly in the art and educational sectors and hospice support.

The Orchestra will general 3 public concerts each year. Concert proceeds may go to another charity (e.g. previously St Peter's Hospice and Save The Children have been chosen). Additionally the Orchestra may provide players from its sections to perform in groups for school musicals and other public events during the course of the year.

The Charity supports the Shepherd's Hospice and The Connaught CPU in Freetown, Sierra Leone, by making grants to it, supporting a visiting doctor, and making occasional visits. Funds are raised by a variety of fundraising events, and from donations from individuals and organisations.

To raise funds by means of holding community social events, raffles, coffee mornings, donations from our local Lions wishing well, and assisting with tourism attractions. Funds raised are donated to the North Devon Hospice; Children's Hospice SW; Lynton's Health Clinic, School, Playgroup, Scouts; Devon Air Ambulance; RNLI; Lions Clubs International Global Aid Projects, local residents in need.

We provide help to the elderly and needy people of Warwick, including medical appliances, electrical goods, furnishings, etc. Christmas food parcels for the elderly and assistance to students traveling overseas. We also make contributions to such bodies as the local Hospice, Air Ambulance, and others, including .Lions Club International charities and appeals both in the UK and overseas.

The main aim of the charity is to provide food and provisions for families whose children are receiving end of life care in their own homes, in a hospice or in hospital. The charity is a much needed resource in the community to address the need for immediate practical support for extremely vulnerable families.

The taking of Children with mental disorders, terminally ill and special needs on outings to the seaside,countryside,plays,films,pantomines and supply transport needs.We also provide finance to any school, home, hospice or individual child for any object the local councils do not provide, for special wheelchair, hand bells, or audio and visual equipment.Also money to other charities.

We hold events throughout the year in support of local charities, including Essex Air Ambulance, Muscular Dystrophy and Animal Rescue. We have also supported Farleigh?s Hospice, CHESS and Chelmsford Homeless Charity. It is our intention this year to support local and smaller charities. We have initiated a special charity fund from donations received via our Healing Group activities.

A confidential voluntary service offering extra care to sufferers of life limiting illness and support to their carers.

Trustees' policy is to aid improvement of welfare to the elderly & in particular to support hospices for the elderly & their day centres, including assisting with capital projects from the Trust's capital. Trustees' interest is in smaller hospices where information about their work is already known to them or easily accessible & where grants are likely to make a significant difference to the work.

We promote all aspects of the arts. We arrange lectures, study days and outings; pay fees and expenses of lecturers. We have set up online access to events. We hire premises for meetings and acquire equipment and software as needed. Arts activities sponsored: £500 each to St Luke's Hospice for Art Therapy, Uxendon Manor School for Mosaics Project, Headstone Manor Museum archiving/art workshops

Supporting children and young adults with life limiting conditions or terminal illness and their families who come under Southampton Children's Hospital, the Teenage and Young Adult Cancer Ward, Southampton and Naomi House Children's Hospice. We offer financial relief for families experiencing hardship and offer families the opportunity to make some magical memories

We are a Christian organisation who meet to worship, study the Bible, preach to those not of our faith, run a Sunday School and hold youth activities. Our funds are collected solely from our own members to enable the above plus assist in the welfare of our own members, maintain our building and support other Christadelphian organisations in their work. We also support local hospice charities.

The Cup of Kindness assists in the relief of poor or necessitous persons through the provision of grants, goods and monetary payments. The Cup of Kindness also helps assist in the provision of equipment, facilities and services for hospitals and hospices, not normally provided by the statutory authorities.

We support charitable and community activities within the Black Country area of the West Midlands making grants to other charitable organisations for the principal purposes of raising educational standards, increasing health provision and supporting the hospice movement, or similar objects or purposes.

Create awareness of and fund raise for Rose Ananse Memorial Hospice Care in Kumasi, Ghana who provide Palliative and Emotional education awareness and support to the local community

To undertake projects locally in Kent for children sunior citizens and individuals needing support.to support local hospitals, hospice and senior citizens day centre.

The Choir gives concerts both charitable and non-charitable for the benefit of local communities and also for communities further afield; this year we have given concerts for various charities including Yorkshire air ambulance,Prince of Wales Hospice(Pontefract), Knottingley company shop. We have also raised money by concerts and other means for the Alzheimer's Society.In 2024 Prostate Cancer.

The charity has supported children diagnosed with cancer and their families providing both financial and practical support during the child's stay away from home through collaboration with Helen & Douglas House Hospice, CLIC Sargeant at the John Radcliffe Hospital and the Lennox Childrens Cancer Fund.The charity also supports children when at home with trips out and gifts.
