Magic Lantern runs interactive art history workshops in schools and a range of adult groups including prisons, homeless centres and hospices. We show that anyone can understand and enjoy art. We also show how art can enhance and bring to life any curriculum subject or topic and can help develop a range of life skills including problem solving, critical thinking, communication and confidence.

The trustees wish to establish a charity which offers respite holidays to families who have either lost achild under the age of 18 or or who is terminally ill, wishing for happy memories to made for them and theirsiblings and parents. We provide a free, confidential voluntary service offering extra care to those living with life limiting illnesses and support to their carers in Leighton Buzzard, Linslade and the district. Our service provides an opportunity for clients to have someone to talk to outside of the family unit, or for their carers to have some respite.

Established to build an endowment as a long term income stream for Rowcroft Hospice to deliver compassion and care to the South Devon community. A legacy that will help patients and their loved ones to make every day the best day possible.

We mainly work within the Chorley, Lancashire area and provide support to Churches and other organisations. We are a Christian charity and support the work of local hospices and other caring charities. We sell Christian literature, CDs, DVDs, cards, music, etc. including church and school supplies. We carry a large stock. The shop was extended during 2011.

The church are for the advancement of the christian faith, in accordance with our core belief for the benefit of the public through teaching of the word of God, preaching the gospel, having prayer meetings and holding public cultural and religious programmes. Also feeding the homeless, supporting children hospice, counselling people with drugs and prison ministry service.

Our club is a local branch of Lions Clubs International - the world's largest voluntary service organisation with 1.4 million members. We raise money locally to spend locally. We offer financial or practical help to individuals and groups - and also to certain local charities such as Hospice in the Weald.Our club area is roughly bounded by Five Oak Green, Yalding, Staplehurst and Horsmonden.

The charity's main activity is being the principal supporter of the Blue House Hospice and Care Centre in the town of Sliven. There are a number of strategic partnerships with evangelical churches with whom we operate a variety of projects, improving the quality of life. Many of the projects are linked to childrens homes, sheltered homes and institutions for elderly and disabled people.

The relief of sickness among adults and young people with life threatening illness in Spalding and South Holland by the provision of funds to provide and support hospice beds and associated palliative care.

Caterham, Oxted & Godstone Lions raise funds within the Tandridge DC area by organising events such as Barn Dances, Quizzes, Dinner Evenings, Music Concerts as well as collecting from the public with a Christmas float and catering at local fetes. The Lions Club supports local needy causes in their community including flood victims, Caterham Food Bank, St Catherine's Hospice and KSSA Ambulance.

Iain Rennie Hospice at Home is part of RGHC which provides palliative care for adults and children who have been diagnosed with cancer or another life limiting illness in Herts & Bucks. Through our 24/7 responsive hospice at home service, our specialist nurses give patients the choice to be cared for at home. We also offer support services for families and, in Herts, a range of day services.

Choral Society, we give 2 concerts a year in the local Church which are well-attended by local people. We give free tickets to accompanied under-16s. We have a retiring collection at the end of each concert for a particular charity chosen by the trustees, eg the local hospice.

St Albans & Dacorum Day Hospice is part of Rennie Grove Hospice Care providing 24/7 responsive Hospice at Home service as well as a range of day services for patients and families in Herts .

The provision of an adult hospice to serve Louth and the surrounding towns and villages. The provision of hospice at home care and also day care to allow a break for carers. Fundraising to this end via public activities and donations together with fund raising via subsidiary charity shops.

The Rotary Club of Wickford is part of the worldwide service organisation Rotary International. It supports all RI's projects. Locally it supports various voluntary organisations such as scouts, guides, local hospices and hospitals as well as schools. It also makes donations to deserving individuals. The Charlie Froud Foundation has been set up in memory of Charlie, a 14 year old boy who died in October 2008 when the light aircraft he was traveling in, crashed in the Wicklow Mountains in Ireland. The Foundation has been set up to financially benefit The Volunteer Irish Rescue Services, Marlwood School and Children?s Hospice South West.

A charity who promotes the advancement of the performing arts with the provision of workshops, musical instruments and teachers to schools, playgroups and children's hospices; and the provision of fully funded or subsidised tickets to see professional and amateur theatre performances in the interests of social welfare for young people, who have need.

SOHH provides awareness raising about palliative care though meetings and media. We train front-line health professionals in Lesotho about palliative care. We support individuals with life limiting illness to improve their wellbeing and alleviation of symptoms where possible. We will be building a hospice in Lesotho

Member of the International Lions Club raising charity funds through annual projects including helping to run a charity bookshop, Easter Egg raffles, & christmas street collections, etc The monies are regularly dispersed to local charities.We also assist the local community with projects inc Senior Citizen's dinners and collecting christmas trees for a local hospice, allowing them to raise funds

The charity supports local and international charitable objectives. This includes: support to international disasters and emergencies, eg. tsunamis, earthquakes: general humanitarian support, eg. distribution of medical equipment in the third world; support to local hospices, hospitals and disabled institutions and support to needy individuals.

We hold three services each month in our Grade 2 Listed Chapel. We support a number of organisations and local Hospices each year from chapel donations. Our Hall is used most days by various groups a Spiritualist group and the local Society of Friends.The Chapel members also use the Hall for the Members' monthly buisiness meeting.
