The Ben McNicol Trust raises funds to support the ongoing use of it's property 'Ben's House' for children undergoing cancer treatment. The accommodation is located near to a specialist children's cancer hospital (the Royal Marsden Sutton). We are involved in various fundraising projects in order to achieve this goal. The Club operates locally. Individuals, Groups, and Charities are eligible for Grants . The Club also subscribes to LCI Disaster Fund. Collaboration and liaison with schools, surgeries, hospital, clubs, charities and agencies ensure promotion of good citizenship. Fundraising includes annual Fun Run, Fun Swim, Golf Day, Easter Egg Raffle, and collections. Social events also generate extra funds.

Activities include a supply of homemade cakes on a weekly basis to the Injured and sick Military in Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham, with monthly visits to the Rehabilitation Centre at Stanford Hall. along with other rehabilitation units Hasler company, CASEVAC Club and wherever else invited to support our injured personnel. Bringing a boost to morale to aid physical & Mental health recovery.

We provide continuous live or recorded radio service for the enterainment of patients ,staff and visitors at the Luton & Dunstable Hospital.To engage patients in broadcast through visits to the wards,request from patients,staff,ralatives.We aim to help the patients feel part of the community,decrease feelings of isolation and contrbute to the well-being and recovery of patients in L & D area

A Charity to support people in the Hartlepool area who have Multiple Sclerosis. We provide advice and information, complementary therapy and counselling if required, a monthly newsletter and social outings. We are providing to members a specialised hospital passport for use in emergency admissions.

The band continues to promote and teach brass band music in the community and regularly supports other organisations with their events and fund raising. The band has made a number of donations including to Chestnut Tree House and Brighton Hospital
