Provides a hospital radio and ward visiting service to those in hospital, residential homes and similar institutions, and for patients receiving community care.

Take Heart was established to help relieve sickness and protect health among persons suffering from heart disease and to promote the advancement of education in heart disease, its causes and implications. In particular it promotes the welfare and care of cardiac patients at home and in hospital and provides social and personal contact with people who share and understand a patient's needs.

Distributes money to needy persons in West and East Hanney and Lyford. Helps with the purchase of equipment, e.g.wheelchairs, stair lifts, to needy persons within the three parishes. Assists with payments of hospital transport and grants to assist under 25's in higher education. Grants are only available to residents of East Hanney, West Hanney and Lyford.

The object of the Charity is to apply the income of the Charity's Trust Fund for the benefit of the Hospitals and Infirmaries in the County of Devon and of convalescent homes working in connection therewith in such manner as the Executive & Finance Committee shall from time to time direct.

The principal object of the charity is to relieve patients and former kidney patients of the Nottingham City hospital and satellite units who are sick,convalescent,disabled,handicapped.infirm or in need of financial assistance.

The objects of the charity are to relieve persons in need because of illness, age, social isolation or being house-bound. We provide. (A) A car service to transport people to hospitals, doctors, dentist, etc. (B) We run a visitor service for the lonely or house bound. (C) We assist people to collect prescriptions or domestic supplies.

The principle activities of the charity include: weekend prayer meetings; weekend classes for children; yearly eid festival celebrations, regular advice and advocacy as necessary. Visiting sick people at home and hospital; conducting naming ceremonies and prayers.

We make grants to individuals in distress and in need and to organisations which operate within the boundaries of Horbury. Each request is individually assessed by the Trust.

The National Maternity Support Foundation (NMSF) is a registered charity set up following the tragic stillbirth of Jake Canter due to the nearest hospital maternity unit being closed. NMSF's founding principles are to take a 'proactive educative approach' to maternity care occupying the 'sensible middle ground' of public opinion and to help improve maternity care and stop these closures happening.

RAISING FUNDS TO SUPPORT ADDENBROOKES HOSPITAL, IPSWICH HOSPITAL & EAST ANGLIAN CHILDREN?S HOSPICES. MAKING GRANTS TOWARDS FUNDING A MUSIC THERAPY POST, SUPPLYING MUSIC TROLLEYS THAT CAN BE USED FOR MUSICAL ACTIVITIES WHILE CHILDREN ARE STAYING IN HOSPITAL, & PROVIDING GIFTS OF MUSICAL INSTRUMENTS OR OTHER MUSIC RELATED ITEMS TO INDIVIDUALS, VIA REQUESTS FROM THE HOSPITAL PAEDIATRIC DEPARTMENTS.

Goodwill activities to our 4 villages including: Car ambulance service providing transport to local doctors, dentists and hospitals when villager unable to drive; various goodwill activities for pensioners such as an afternoon tea and Christmas parcels; and donations to individuals and local organisations including the school. Fundraising events such as an annual fete and occasional quiz night

Purchase of equipment for intensive care at Cheltenham General Hospital. Financing of educational courses for nurses and doctors at Cheltenham ICU. Provision of grants for research into intensive care.

We let out our Hall for meetings and dancing activities. We support local charities with special needs and local hospitals.

As part of the Henry Smith charity we make an annual donation at Christmas time to the needy of the parish. In practise this means a financial donation to all pensioners who are in need, & to all children in full time education. Additionally hardship payments are made during the year including assistance towards hospital travel and subsistence.

Our organization provides relief of poverty through grants and provides services and support for the sick and the elderly. This includes free meals for hospital patients on special diet and rehabilitation of prisoners amongst other charitable activities.

HELP IS AVAILABLE IN THE FORM OF SMALL GRANTS AND LOANS TO THOSE IN FINANCIAL NEED OR WITH UNEXPECTED FINANCIAL BURDENS IN THE VILLAGES OF BARKWAY AND NUTHAMPSTEAD. THE CHARITY CAN HELP INDIVIDUALS WITH THE PROVISION OF ESSENTIAL HOUSEHOLD ITEMS, PAYMENT FOR SERVICES, HOSPITAL VISITS AND OTHER SUCH EXPENSES.

The main aim of the Emma Maltby Memorial Fund is to raise funds to employ Learning Mentors at the Teenage Cancer Trust Unit in St James's Hospital in Leeds. The Learning Mentors will assist patients to ensure that they can continue their education whilst undergoing treatment for cancer.
