The following was agreed at our AGM on 20/03. St. Mary's League of Hospital & Community Friends IOS would cease activity and fundraising from the end of the financial year...4th April 2023. We agreed that after all outstanding requests have been met, the remaining funds will be divided equally between St. Mary's Hospital, Park House residential home & the Medical Launch for off-islanders.

Free surgical treatment for people who cannot afford, currently, in Assam, with hospital bills paid by Charity. Also, drugs, travel and accommodation for accompanying persons.Training of local professionals in Reconstructive surgery.

Artregen helps in the regeneration of Pontypool through the Arts. our projects have included an artwork to commemorate the Millenium, a memorial (written and artwork) to a hospital , now being upgraded, relocated and restored an 18th Century arbour, have staged "Opera in the Park" 5times. Provided seats in the Italian gardens around a fountain which we helped to restore. Literary events.

We are old students of a College of Education. At present we issue cheques to old students in need. We also help needy members in other ways eg visiting them at home or in hospital, sending gifts e.g. flowers.We make an annual donation to Parkside School, College Road, Norwich to assist in the provision of facilities, to advance the children's education, not required to be provided by the LEA.

The Fund's main activity is to fund Learning Mentors in the Teenage Cancer Trust Unit at St James's Hospital in Leeds. The role of the Learning Mentor is to assist patients to ensure that they can continue with their education whilst they are undergoing their treatment for cancer.

The main purpose of the charity is to aid the running of the local village hospital in Chaper Sharif, Taseel Gujar Khan, District Rawalpindi, Pakistan. This provides FREE medical and health care to the local villagers who otherwise would not be able to afford medical care.Money is also provided to local schools for educational books and equipment for children.
