To date 93 hospital staff's children have been given educational grants to fund a year's school fees, as part of our project to support and retain the lower paid hospital staff. Working with the our Ugandan trustees and hospital executive staff, a project proposal has been written to support the development of a nursing and midwifery school for which we are continuing to seek funding.

The Foundation makes grants to charitable organisations in order to achieve its objectives. It is currently committed to funding a large long-term project to develop a new hospital wing, as well as smaller donations to organisations working to promote health, international co-operation and cultural activities.

Battling Cancer in Ethiopia(BCE) organizes events to raise funds in order to meet its objectives of relieving sickness and the preservation and protection of good health by providing medical equipment to the Black Lion Hospital in Ethiopia. BCE runs different activities to raise awareness of cancer issues affecting Ethiopians and Eritreans living both in United Kingdom and in Ethiopia.

Improving the physical conditions for thyroid cancer patients receiving treatment at Velindre hospital, Cardiff. Developing gardens outside treatment rooms to provide a pleasant outlook for patients. A mural to provide an interesting view for patients. Providing information booklets for patients. Raising funds for new projects that will benefit thyroid cancer patients specifically.

Cash donations are given to residents of the village of Sampford Peverell who are in need of monetary help in circumstances ie death in family; cash towards the cost of transport to visit relative who is in hospital on a long term stay; any requests for help from villagers is carefully considered by trustees.

AID TO PEOPLE IN THE VILLAGE WITH THE COST OF HOSPITAL VISITING AND ALSO FUNERAL EXPENSES. OTHER DONATIONS MAY BE MADE AT THE DISCRETION OF THE TRUSTEES TO VILLAGERS IN NEED.

We provide information and support to families that lose their babies through miscarriage, stillbirth or neonatal death, along with remembrance boxes that families can use to create memories with their babies. We hold conferences with hospitals as well as fundraising for equipment such as cold cot's, that allow families to spend time with their baby in the days and weeks after their passing.

Provides grants towards medical needs, heating or hospital transport for sick or elderly residents of the parish of Singleton, West Sussex.

We raise funds for the benefit of the Maesteg Community Hospital and its patients.
