Alsager-based Charity for people in suffering life-changing illness.If you are a patient of any of the GP Surgeries in: Alsager; Scholar Green or Rode Heath Keystone provides free of charge support, complementary therapy and nurse advice services to people living with a long term life-limiting illness. We also provide services for the carers of patients and for the bereaved.

To protect and preserve good health and provide relief for those in need by reason of them being parents, family, or carers of disabled, severely or terminally ill children who are seeking to alleviate personal health related issues that may arise from their caring roles.

Our four themes for grants are: wildlife particularly in Shropshire, Suffolk and Hampshire; music, specifically community music, and community arts more generally; advice and information work; end of life care and how it can be improved.We want to deliver outcomes. Our interests are projects we can learn from, less popular work, projects that might have a big impact and cross theme work.

1. To educate doctors and nurses in India about palliative care and its importance for those suffering from advanced cancer.2. To provide practical relief from the distressing symptoms of cancer, by the provision of pain clinics, drugs and relevant equipment.

We run The Omega Course - a safe and friendly space to talk about Death and Dying, so people develop confidence to think about their own end-of-life issues and to support friends and family to do the same. We free people to plan their bucket list and enjoy the life they have left to live, with the freedom of knowing when illness comes they have a plan. We also offer the course to professionals.

We fundraise for projects which help disabled people in Western Nepal to help themselves. Our aims are: -good governance-fundraising/awareness events (e.g. craft stall, presentations)-frequent contact with recipient projects (most recently, a palliative care project supporting people with long term disabilities and their carers) -good communication with our donors

The Charity exists to support strategic planning, policy development, evaluation and education of key people in resource poor countries who are delivering care for people at the end of life.

The Charity provides direct support to Deaf people and their family and friends in end-of-life circumstances. The charity also raises awareness through training of healthcare professionals and trains and supports Deaf volunteers to become visitors in end-of-life situations.

Installation of chair lifts and ramps to the homes of the terminally ill

Palliative Care for People with Learning Disabilities Network exists to raise awareness of the palliative care needs of people with learning disabilities, to share and promote best practice, and to enhance collaboration between all services providers, health care professionals, paid care staff, family carers, carers with a learning disability and people with a learning disability.

The charity has helped children in the Bedfordshire& Essex areas over this year.

the charity's sole purpose is to raise money to send to lourdes, france, as many sick people as possible regardless of walking wounded, terminally ill, young or old, and of any colour or creed.

The trust continues to finance homoepathic and alternative medical treatment for terminally ill and incurable patients. A clinic employing a qualified homoepathic practitioner was run throughout the year and free treatment was given to deserving cases.

We provide financial support for services that provide palliative care and those that provide for critically ill and injured adults and children in the Bedfordshire area. Specifically, although not exclusively, we support the services provided by Keech Hospice Care.We do this in memory of Aimee Sarah Varney, a nurse who worked at the hospice, who died suddenly on 16 June 2013, aged 21 years.

Andi's Gift supports patients and their families who access a hospice/have a palliative condition; by sourcing small memory making activities and providing financial support to enable these to take place.

Horse Fair is a purpose built care home offering Dementia, Nursing, Residential, Respite and End of Life care. Horse Fair Care Home also provides specialist care for young people with physical disabilities. The Friends aim to improve the quality of life of the residents of the care home by working with staff, residents and relatives.
