Creation and distribution of sound recordings to blind and visually impaired people

To provide services (Talking Newspaper) to the blind in South Staffordshire

Serving the visually impaired and blind residents of the London Borough of Merton by distributing free weekly audio recordings on memory sticks and as attachments to Emails. The recordings include local news (mainly from the free local newspaper) and a 30-minute audio Magazine on a wide range of topics of general interest.

To provide support to children aged 3 - 19 with physical and/or sensory disabilities to ensure they have every opportunity to meet their potential in a range of learning and social activities.

We record local weekly newspapers digitally each week for blind and partially sighted people. Every month we produce a Talking Magazine and periodically we record the local council info "Otley Matters". Our listeners either receive a USB stick by post or listen online. Our area covers Otley, Guiseley, Pool, Bramhope, Rawdon, Horsforth, Adel, Cookridge, Ilkley, Menston, Burley and Addingham.

We provide a craft group for blind and partially sighted people living in Eastbourne and the Wealden area of East Sussex.A choice of at least five crafts are taught by self-employed professional tutors and free transport is provided by a team of volunteers who also help with the craft activities where needed.

Furtherance of public interest and participation in singing. Running of 'Learn to Sing' type courses, singing workshops and performances to help other charities to raise funds, including: The Oxfordshire Association For The Blind, The Prostate Cancer Charity, The Oxford Story Museum and The Movember Foundation.

To enable people with disabilities to enjoy the hobby of amateur radio through the loan of adapted equipment and accessible training material.

Monies are raised from store collections, collecting tins, special events which are used to provide social occasions and other assistance to improve the wellbeing of our members

It is DEAFvibe's belief that all Deaf (BSL), Deaf with Speech, Hard of Hearing, Deafened and Deafblind people should be treated equally and with respect; that access to information & communication is provided without barriers or prejudice; and to promote equal participation and opportunities in life. Access to Communication is a vital need to have a sense of belonging and inclusion in society.

To relieve the needs of Deaf, Deafened, Deaf-Blind , Hard of Hearing people in Leicester and the surrounding areas, in particular by the provision by the support services, advice and education. in furtherance of the object LDAG promotes independence and supports Deaf, Deafened, Deaf-Blind and Hard of Hearing people to participate fully in society .

GENERAL CHARITABLE ACTIVITIES INCLUDING MAKING OF GRANTS TO CLERGYMEN'S WIDOWS AND TO POOR BLIND PERSONS. THE CONSERVATION, MAINTENANCE, UPKEEP, REPAIR AND IMPROVEMENT OF HEREFORD CATHEDRAL AND OTHER CHURCH OF ENGLAND CHURCHES IN DIOCESE OF HEREFORD. FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE TO OTHER CHARITIES, PARTICULARLY IN THE HEREFORDSHIRE AREA WHERE FUNDS ALLOW.

We support another charity 'Jesus in Action Charities Friendly Society' (Reg. No. 1489) in Guyana, South America. Both charities have similar objectives: 1. Provision for needy children through a Children's Home near Parika, 2. Provision of medical care through an eye clinic in Linden, and 3. Setting up a Permaculture Farm.The UK charity is also open to providing similar services elsewhere.

SeeNepal Foundation provides professional eye care to help protect and preserve the eye health of people that lack access to such healthcare and those suffering from eyesight impairment in rural Nepal, through the provision of essential and accessible eye healthcare and vision aid, support, education and practical advice.

We provide members with many activities, ie. craftwork, talks from outside agencies ie. social workers, guest speakers etc. We provide quizzes and games. We have monthly outings to various destinations.
