Asian Diabetic Association (ADA)activities are follows: ADA meets once a month at Shrewbury Health Centre, Newham on first monday of the month. ADA provides information on diabeties, diet, foot health and associated health issues. ADA invites professional health speakers to give information on special issues such as eye care, looking after teeth, benefits in Asian languages.

Vision Foundation plays a critical role in transforming lives and saving sight by working in partnership with others to deliver projects which inform, empower and include. In addition to providing funding we research, campaign and advocate on behalf of all blind and partially sighted people.

Humara Ghar Charitable Trust provides funds for advancement of education and treatment of the disabled, mentally handicapped children, the blind and sick elderly persons. The Trust supports blindness prevention programmes, gives funds to camps for cataract operations. It provides funds to charities giving aid to persons in conditions of need, hardship and distress resulting from natural disasters.

Vision for the Future has assisted in the provision of treatment for those who are blind or suffering from eye related conditions and has provided facilities and equipment for eye care. In addition, it has assisted in the provision of advice and support for its patients, their families and carers. WCCVI is a Cricket Club specifically set up for visually impaired people to take part in the cricket league and Bill Frindell Memorial Trophy, ran under BCEW (Blind Cricket England & Wales) a charity wich governs sports in England & wales. Also to take part in the Knock Out Cup that is mainly if not totally funded by The Primary Club.

Lapido Media champions religious literacy in the media at all levels and across all reporting genres. Our central mission is to help journalists and media workers to overcome blind spots on religion and belief. We equip and train journalists, media workers and faith communities to address the challenge of religious illiteracy.

Operation Eyesight is an international development organization working to prevent blindness and restore sight. We collaborate with our hospital and government partners in low- and middle-income countries to invest in sustainable eye health treatment, blindness prevention and community development. We currently have programs in Bangladesh, India, Nepal, Ethiopia, Ghana, Kenya, Liberia and Zambia.
