The aim is to increase their confidence and overcoming loss of sight whilst maintaining their self belief.

The Centre of Excellence for Sensory Impairment -COESI- works with voluntary sector organisations around the country that provide services and support for people with sensory loss and on projects to address gaps in provision. To oversee the establishment of a network of Community Eye Hospitals in Asia and Africa, providing high-quality, accessible, and sustainable eye care services to millions of people, and drastically reducing avoidable blindness.The Ruit Foundation will serve as an "umbrella organization", to replicate and export the Community Eye Hospital model.
