The charitiy objectives are to acquire, restore, preserve and operate a representative collection of heritage railway buildings, structures, rolling stock and artefacts fo use by, exhibition to and for the education of the public in the infrastructure, management and operation of railways between Ambergate and Buxton in the County of Derbyshire.

The objects of the charity are to provide financial assistance to the charity registered as the Ironbridge Gorge Museum Limited to secure the preservation, restoration, improvement, enhancement and maintenance of features of historic and industrial importance.

Yapton and Ford Village Hall Trustees are responsible for the running, upkeep and maintenance of Yapton and Ford Village Hall, situated in the heart of Yapton village. There are two halls for hire within the building, and also a club room, bar and kitchens. The hall is used by a wide range of community groups covering all age ranges.

We raise funds for Park infrastructure such as lighting, exercise equipment, seating and table tennis tables. We also raise funds for planting and horticultural restoration. Our members help with park maintenance and conduct regular litter picking. The objectives of African Mountain Research Foundation is the preservation, conservation and restoration of the environment, with regard to the protection of vulnerable mountain systems in Southern Africa (Angola, Botswana, Lesotho, Madagascar, Malawi, Mozambique, Namibia, South Africa, Zambia, Zimbabwe) and their ability to provide water catchment services to millions of people.

THE BOAT IS RUN ENTIRELY BY DONATIONS.

The prevention or relief of poverty in Watchet, Williton and surrounding area by the provision of food, essential toiletries, and household items to people in need; working with professional partners to restore dignity, maintain health and support efforts to regain independence and stability, and providing support to access or signposting to relevant agencies, advisory or information services.

Formed on 15 May 2014 to take over the work of an unincorporated charity of same name number 1002627, wound up from 14 October 2014 and all assets and liabilities transferred to the CIO.The CIO has continued to preserve, restore and maintain its locomotives and rolling stock for public operation and education, providing opportunities for learning and skills development for those involved.

Bawdsey Radar Trust maintains a Grade II* listed Radar Transmitter Block which formed part of the world's first operational radar station at Bawdsey. The Transmitter Block re-opened in 2017 after a major restoration project and includes an award winning exhibition. The Trust maintains and exhibits a collection of relavant artefacts to advance the education of the public.
