Raising funds for the preservation, restoration, improvement and development of the church buildings, fabric, fittings, stained glass, ornaments, monuments and all other chattels in and belonging to the church of St. Mary the Virgin, Ross-on-Wye and its churchyard, and all additions thereto.

To preserve for the benefit of the people of Buckinghamshire and of the nation at large, the English historical architectural and constructional heritage, which may exist in and around Buckinghamshire in the form of buildings or ancient monuments.

The charity aims to benefit the residents of the Langport area and its surrounding communities through collaborative engagement so as to aid in the preservation of some of its key heritage buildings and other facilities for use by the community, and in the interests of diversity and social welfare, with the objective of enhancing the quality of life for the residents and users of the town.

Like all village halls in the country we are an independently run charity; serving the local communities. We fundraise for various charities and for the upkeep and maintenance of our hall; we run weekly bingo sessions and line dancing classes. We also host various events eg psychic evenings, quizzes, race nights and dances etc.We are available for private hire at a reasonable cost.

Maintenance and upkeep of the Village Hall which is to benefit the local community by providing a venue for a variety of social activities.

The society was founded in 1963 to promote interest in the life and work of Sir Nigel Gresley. Meetings are held in the spring and autumn, at various locations, when there are talks by well known speakers. Our journal, The Gresley Observer is published three times a year and the society owns an ex GNR N2 tank locomotive and a 1938 buffet lounge car. Our website is at www.Gresley.org.

The Trustees of the charity look after the maintenance and repair of the Chapel and Schoolroom buildings and provide a minister for the Chapel services for the benefit of the Congregation and the general public.

To advance the education of the public in poor communities in The Gambia in particular but not exclusively, by providing learning materials to established schools and building new schools where they do not currently exist.The relief of sickness and the preservation of health amongst people residing permanently or temporarily, particularly but not exclusively in The Gambia, West Africa.

Promote the history of Blackbushe Airport, highlights the unique Heritage and importance to initial independent commercial aviation from the UK around the world by restoration of aircraft G-AGRW which will be used as a focal point for educational briefings.

Raises funds & makes grants in furtherance of the:- worship, ministry, music & work of All Saints Margaret Street- restoration, improvement, development, maintenance & repair of the Parish Church, its furniture, ornaments, churchyard & the ecclesiastical property connected with it (including Nos 6 & 8 Margaret St) - work of the Institute of Christian Studies (as existing from time to time)

The upkeep and maintenance of a village hall which, for the public benefit, is available for hire within the local area for business, social and recreational purposes.

The raising of funds for the restoration and repair of the fabric of the Church of St. Mary and All Saints in Great Budworth, Cheshire and the provision, restoration and repair of its monuments, ornaments, furnishings, embellishments and such other charitable purposes as in the opinion of the Trustees are for the benefit of the Church, its congregation and the community of which it forms part.

Rowland Hill provides affordable housing enabling women aged 55 and over to retain their independence and live in the local community. Located in Ashford, Surrey, the 25 self contained flats are set within beautiful historic buildings and surrounded by spacious gardens.

There is no one organisation that takes responsibility for graves and memorials before 1914. As a result many of the graves are in poor condition and are in need of repair. The activities of the trust are the preservation of;a) Windmills, watermills & windpumps of interest or the sites and remains of former windmills, windpumps & watermills b) Machinery for milling corn, saw milling, grist milling, paper milling & other similar industrial purposes or pumping water however powered; buildings & machinery ancillary to and occupied with such mills, sites or machinery.
