The Charity exists to cherish the history and beauty of St. Mary's Church Stoke by Nayland, a Grade 1 listed building over 500 years old, and to assist the PCC in the maintenance of its fabric and churchyard. It is a non-denominational organisation whose purpose is to raise funds to help preserve the building for future generations. The church features in paintings by Constable and others.

The Aylsham Community Partnership was set up in November 2006 and it focuses on the advancement of education through the Aylsham Heritage Centre and the improvement of the environment through Aylsham in Bloom. Our activities are focused, but not exclusively, on keeping the two Terrier locomotives which we own or part-own in active service for the public benefit. The locomotives are based on the Kent & East Sussex Railway that operates public train services.

Faversham Creek Trust is an independent, non-political, not-for-profit community enterprise. Its overall aim is to restore Faversham Creek as a working waterway for the benefit of the Town. It will help to regenerate the Creek as a community resource, develop a training scheme for shipwrights, foster traditional boatbuilding skills, and promote tourism linked to the town's maritime heritage.
