Encourages public knowledge & appreciation of creativity, music & their lives through caring, sharing & interpreting archive collections, the heritage property they shared, objects, books & art. Makes a grant to Snape Maltings. Supports individual composers & musicians in several ways but does not invite speculative applications.

Lectures on natural history subjects. Natural history rambles. Co-operating with other organisations and individuals in practical nature conservation activities.

The Amberley Museum Trust holds the exhibits and artefacts displayed and stored at a separate charity, Amberley Museum & Heritage Centre, which operates an industrial museum at Amberley near Arundel in West Sussex. The Amberley Museum Trust does not trade.

We work very closely with Sutton Leisure & Sports, a charity which provides snooker & pool facilities for junior & senior players. We use their facilities for open days and exhibitions.Ensure planning applications keep within the rules of a Conservation area.Publisise village for public awareness of it's historical value.Organise Family Fun Days and assist with local village events.

At the request of Kim Chester, Development Manager, Waterways Trust, Mrs Hopkinson recorded the history of the Brindley Canal & brine spring excavations at Droitwich for educational purposes, at schools & the Worcester Record Office to maintain interest in the history of the salt industry. DBSAT has been made a partner in this development together with Wychavon District Council and local bodies.

Includes:-Douglas Magnin Prize for Geography.The Peake Prize for Mathematics.Bailey Sripture Prize.For pupils at Fleetwood High School-This Trust Fund is in the process of being transferrred to Fleetwood High School by LCC Legal Services Dept.

The Trust aims to collect and collate all the manuscripts of composer Mansel Thomas, and bring into publication as many as possible of these, so that performers, scholars and members of the public may be able to access the works for study and / or performances.
