THT runs a range of activities to inform the public about the heritage of the Tavistock area, including guided walks, lectures and open days. Our main project is the restoration and repurposing of the Tavistock Guildhall to create a new Visitor Interpretation Centre which will introduce visitors to the history of the town and the Cornwall & West Devon Mining Landscape World Heritage Site.

Green park with open access to public, children's play area, youth football, charity fundraising activities e.g. fete, musical festival and general ad hoc activities. Eight historical Heritage Trail Display Units installed to acknowledge the Centenary of the Trust in 2014 and for educational reasons.

Organises lectures, workshops, conferences and seminars and other educational activities relating to the history of football in the city of Sheffield along with acquiring objects, memorabilia and other such football related exhibits and items alongside raising funds for a football related museum or visitor centre working with strategic, regional and local partners to acheive its charitable aims

The objectives of the Foundation are to provide for the advancement of education by providing support to Orwell Park School Educational Trust Limited. The support provided involves helping the School to finance projects of an architectural or historical interest which it would not be able to afford from fee income alone

Current activities:The Slymbridge Village Hall provides:-The possibility for a large group of organisations to meet, e.g.: Horticultural Society,History Society,Dog Training, Parish Council, the Slimbridge variety Group, church meetings, Village Hall social group meetings-Horticultural shows-Variety performance evenings

Provision of a free to enter Museum Gallery which showcases the military and social history of The Royal Lancers and Nottinghamshire's Cavalry from 1689 to the present day.Provision for family research and an on site educational research facility.Preservation and conservation of artefacts and archival material.

York Polish Organisation is a charity which aims is to bring minority with their differentculture, tradition, and history to the local community by running various events andfestive open to everyone. It mainly governance and support Polish Saturday School inYork, established in 2009.

The Archive collects information about all aspects of the history of the St Ives area and makes it available to the general public. This includes photographs, and oral history recordings. Volunteers undertake research, produce publications and set up displays in local venues.The Centre provides outreach facilities for the elderly and young, working closely with local schools and colleges.

The HES supports research into and dissemination of the history of education through its website, publications and conferences. It supports post graduate students in providing bursaries for conference attendance and it offers a variety of prizes and awards for historians of education. It convenes annual conference and regional conferences on a wide range of education history topics.

To acquire, restore, preserve, maintain display and use for public benefit, heritage wooden boats and other wooden maritime vessels and so advance public education in the historical significance of such boats and vessels and the skills and crafts used in their construction, maintenance and use.

To advance religion in accordance with the Jewish faith by the provsion of a synagogue for the purpose of pubic worship and to advance education amongst children and adults in conetmporary Judaism, Jewish history, culture, theology and literugy and the understanding of multi-cultural Judaism.

The village is a thriving community (approx 500 dwellings and 1200 residents). Many residents support the hall and it is key to village life. The hall is used by 16 regular groups including, Indoor Bowls, Karate, Keep Fit, Scouts, History Society, Parent and Toddler group, Dancing etc plus numerous ad hoc functions. There is a successful amateur Dramatic group with an active youth section.

This is a Church members group. Our service activities involved celebrating special occasions and commemorating Church or local historical events, missionary works; and vocational training. Church activities are planned to fulfill Gospel-centered purposes. We fellowship together every Sundays of the week and during the week at Purfleet Academy Primary School, Purfleet by participating in services.

To advance the education of the public in Islamic Religion, Culture and History.

(a) To promote and encourage the public study of family history, genealogy, heraldry and local history with particular reference to the County of Dorset.(b) To promote the preservation, security and accessibility of archival material.

The promotion & advancement of the education of the public in the cultivation, appreciation & study of the decorative and fine arts by an annual programme of accredited lecturers: Study days: Visits to places of historical & artistic interest: Giving of aid to Young Arts: The time donated by volunteers in the preservation of the artistic heritage of the UK for the benefit of the public.

The Friendship Centre is a social centre for older people, open 3 mornings a week. As well as the opportunity for social contact and peer support there are a number of activities on offer, such as art and crafts, dance classes, fitness classes, a local history group and massage. We serve hot lunches twice a week. We are based in Lancaster.

Organises lectures, seminars and workshops for members and the public. Publishes guides to the study of Jewish Genealogy available to all, a journal (Shemot) and newsletter. Operates a library open to all by arrangement. Promotes research into Jewish family history. Provides websites open to all containing details of more than 1000 Jewish communities in Great Britain.

We organize liturgical services for communal worship; educational seminars on the theology, history, and liturgical arts of the Orthodox Church; charitable initiatives for young people to volunteer and assist those in need; and social events including religious pilgrimages and cultural events. These activities are hosted at parishes of the Archdiocese of Thyateira and Great Britain.

To achieve its objectives, the Charity runs public exhibitions and once renovation has been completed and title transferred to the Charity, it will operate the RAF Hornchurch Heritage Centre.

The charity organises visits symposia and other events to further public understanding and appreciation of funerary monuments of historical, artistic, architectural importance and related arts of all periods and all countries. The charity will promote physical conservation of funerary monuments and will draw attention to monuments under threat.
