To Promote and advance the aesthetic education of the public, the cultivation appreciation and study of the decorative and fine arts by means of lectures and visits to private houses, museums, exhibitions and other places of interest to members of the society. The Society also is active in The Art's Society Young Arts programme with local schools and the award of prizes to young artists of merit

Colchester Museums Development Foundation supports Colchester Museums to inspire and enrich the local community, through the preservation, exploration, and sharing of the town's heritage. The Foundation raises funds through donations, memberships and grants to support access, inclusion, community collaboration, and engagement with collections across Colchester Museums.

The Charity runs a Museum; which cares for a permanent collection of artefacts and archives. The Museum exhibits objects for the education and enjoyment of the Armed Forces Community and also the wider public. The Museum provides a research service and makes information available to a wider audience via its website.

To advance public education about all aspects of Arab Islamic culture, including architecture, visual arts, music and literature by holding lectures and exhibitions and receiving applications for grants, support or sponsorship

To support and assist the Towner Art Gallery.To encourage and foster the appreciation of the arts in Eastbourne by the organisation of meetings, exhibitions, concerts, lectures and other related activities.To supplement the facilities provided at the Towner Art Gallery by the Borough Council.

HERITAGE CENTRE/MUSEUM AND VISITOR INFORMATION

Permanent and temporary exhibitions and displays on Ashby-de-la-Zouch and its neighbourhood. Regular guided walks. Evening classes, lectures, workshops. Publications of local history, including an annual magazine "Past and Present". Conservation and preservation of a local archive, including photographs, books, documents, newspapers, artefacts.

Museum exhibition has now been incoroprated into the new Firing Line Museum at Cardiff Castle. Research and conservation has continued throughout the year.

During the year The Friends of The Royal Welsh Regimental Museum organised a number of events to commemorate the Regiments and to raise funds for the Museum Appeal. The museum Friends actively support the museum with fundraising activities and assisting with the purchase of artefacts. Surplus funds raised are accumulated pending redevelopment or relocation of the Museum.

To advance the education of the public in the history and processes of printing, book binding andallied skills with special emphasis on the endangered craft of Letterpress, a) the provision and maintenance of a museumb) preservation of historic printing machineryc) c) the provision of a working hub to develop printing and bookbinding skills and training in heritage skills

It is dedicated to preserving the ethos of the Wagoners' Special Reserve by collecting and displaying relevant items, producing a newsletter and holding Wagoner events.

Beyond Sight Loss is a user-led charity addressing loneliness and social isolation of blind and partially sighted people in Tower Hamlets. Members meet to socialise and share information about inclusive activities, events and opportunities to improve health and wellbeing. Outings take place in accessible museums, parks, theatre and sporting events.

The purpose of the charity is to provide a museum showing the history of Beccles and the surrounding district. Occasional special exhibitions are organised. The museum is open to the public from April to the end of October

The Fan Circle International brings together professionals, collectors and enthusiasts of fans from around the world. Members are encouraged to undertake research into fans and fan makers for publication in our Bulletin, for which grants may be available. Grants are also given for the conservation of fans in museum collections and for educational purposes to promote knowledge of hand fans.

To advance education by establishing a museum which details the history of the RAF fire and rescue and to promote community fire safety. Also to advance education by displaying fire fighting memorabilia in and outside the museum to promote community fire safety. Also to Promote Education on fire safety.

The Society is engaged in providing charitable activities to schools, young persons, churches, museums, libraries, and the general public
