To promote, improve and advance education in, and appreciation of, the arts in particular but not exclusively through the provision and maintenance of an art gallery and the facilitation and management of artist studios.

The Society holds monthly meetings for the members it runs the Museum and has an archaeology group

Finchingfield Guildhall is an important historic building containing a village centre library, interactive, family-friendly museum and multi-purpose Guild Room, available for hire.

The Objectives of the Charity are TO ADVANCE PUBLIC EDUCATION BY PROMOTING THE STUDY OF SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC HISTORY AND INDUSTRIAL HERITAGE PARTICULARLY THROUGH THE ESTABLISHMENT OF A LOCAL HERITAGE CENTRE IN PEWSEY. These are met by (a) opening the museum to the public (b) providing an outreach lecture programme and (c) maintaing a web site allowing public research and review of the collection.

THE ACTIVITIES OF THE SOCIETY ARE THE PRESERVATION OF INDUSTRIAL ARCHEAOLOGY OF CORNWALL, THE COLLECTION AND COLLATINF OF ARTIFACTS AND MUSEUM ACTIVITIES

We operate an art gallery to advance the arts for the public benefit through the promotion of contemporary art, especially visual art. Our activities enable public education in the understanding, appreciation, production and practice of contemporary art.We also provide studio and workshop facilities and advice for contemporary artists who cannot afford to rent space at market rates.

Museum open to the general public which tells the history of the Crystal Palace 1851 - 1951 by photographs, artifacts and the written word. Undertakes educational work with schools primarily covering key stage 2. Provides a service for research both on site and on line.

The organisation seek to educate the public by promoting women's contributions to the arts, past & present, focusing on artists with a UK connection. Activities include lectures, artists' talks & specially arranged tours of relevant exhibitions.

The Society encourages research and study into matters relating to Caughley porcelain and publishes the results in its newsletter, distributed free to members and lodged at key libraries and museums for public access. It also holds lecture meetings, open to members and to the public. In addition, it undertakes one-off projects such as exhibitions and the publication of a pattern book.

Education of the public and members of the regiment in the history and military accomplishments of the regiment by public exhibition of the collection in a museum. Restoration, conservation, repair, reconstruction and preservation of objects in the collection.

Rural Life Museum and Victorian School

WE'VE ESTABLISHED A NATIONAL SURFING MUSEUM IN NORTH DEVON - PRESERVING UK SURF HERITAGE, CELEBRATING CURRENT ACHIEVEMENTS AND SHAPING THE FUTURE OF SURFING IN GREAT BRITAIN. THE CHARITY AIMS TO CREATE A CARBON NEUTRAL HOME, OFFERING A NEW COMMUNITY VENUE TO PROMOTE MUSIC, ART, FILM & CULTURAL EVENTS. PROMOTING CONSERVATION OF THE ENVIRONMENT, YOUTH OPPORTUNITIES, EDUCATION AND VOLUNTEERING.

The Foundation was established in memory of John and Nellie Lewis by their sons, David and Christopher. We support Welsh Arts, Culture, Heritage, and Language through small grants towards heritage sites, arts programs, educational institutions and museums. We fund projects to protect Wales' natural beauty, promote sustainable tourism, and encourage learning about Welsh arts, culture, and language.

Provides an information exchange on arts activities in the Parish of Wymondham, Norfolk, and adjacent areas; organizes a literary festival; operates a free admission gallery providing regular exhibitions with associated educational activities.

Education of the public by the promotion, support, assistance and improvement of the Oxfordshire County Museum in Woodstock through the activity of a group of Friends

Run entirely by volunteers the Museum is open to the public from March to end of October. Entry is free. The museum contains important items of local history including an iconic Hobby Horse and displays on Arthur C. Clarke, Minehead's Lost Pier and Punch & Judy amongst others. The museum runs talks and a charity quiz along with producing booklets on local themes

Collection of information and artefacts concerning the history and development of hot air/ gas ballooning and airships in the UK, to provide displays and written material.

Village folk museum

Keep contact with former and serving members of the Regiment, foster mutual friendship/esprit de corps that provides support to the GBA , GWT and Gurkha Museum. Funds provide support for education in schools in Nepal and to branches there for anniversary functions and ad hoc payments to those in need.

Through membership of the Guild we promote high standards of making and design in a wide range of fine crafts. We also advance public education and awareness in crafts and craftsmanship. This is achieved through exhibitions, workshops demonstrations organised through our new gallery 18 Rotunda Terrace, Montpellier Street, Cheltenham, which opened 2022. More information on our website.
