Museums Essex supports museums, galleries and heritage organisations deliver cultural and learning excellence in Essex. Its principal activities are: co-funding and supporting the Museum Development Officer to provide advice, Accreditation support and advocacy for archives, museums and galleries in Essex; four thematic networking meetings a year in heritage venues and a small grants programme.

To advance the education of the public, and in particular but not exclusively, pupils in UK state schools, in Latin, Ancient Greek and Classical Civilisation; to run the East Oxford Community Classics Centre; and, to run the Rumble Museum to expand, preserve and make accessible to the public, its large and varied collection of artefacts

The institute's primary activity is the encouragement and development of oil painting. Exhibitions of work by members and selected non-members are held annually at the Mall Galleries, London. Significant prizes are on offer. Opportunities for inter-action with members are featured.

The construction, maintenance, improvement, and operation of a large model railway and other associated items of historical interest, for public exhibition as a historical 'working' museum, for the furtherance of the knowledge and education of the general public.

The aim of Chesham Museum is to educate visitors in the rich history of the town and the surrounding areas, for the benefit of both local residents and visitors. Our objectives are to display and promote aspects of local history, and as part of this to involve visitors in local history projects.

Manage a period house museum

Arts4Kent raises funds to support national and local museums, galleries and art- and culture-related projects. It does this primarily by means of offering a programme of lectures, visits and other events to the general public. Surplus funds raised are granted to national and regional museums and galleries.

The Charity operates community boats based on Beverley Beck in East Yorkshire, with its restored Humber Barge Syntan acting as a museum, meeting space and mobile resource to show the history and operation of craft on Beverley Beck. This is enhanced by our vessel Sun, used as a trip boat to carry passengers including those with mobility issues and our small training and trip boat Mermaid.

The hall forms the heart of the community holding meetings, concerts, debates and social functions. Now the Ceiriog Memorial Institute Museum has been refurbished and consists of a display area for the many unique exhibits which have been donated to the institute since 1911.

To establish and maintain for the benefit of the public a History Centre relating to the Teign Valley

The objects of the charity are for the public benefit by provision of a museum and relevant collections concerned with the history of and industrial and other heritage of Bromsgrove and its environs.

1. Run an Arts Council accredited museum displaying the history and heritage of Whitchurch, Shropshire and its surrounding area.2. Conduct research projects relevant to the history and heritage of Whitchurch, producing booklets, leaflets and internet material.3. Maintain a historical archive of artefacts relevant to the history of Whitchurch.

The Trust owns and looks after the Town hall, the Old Cattle Market (OCM), the War Memorial Hall (WMH), the green in front of the Old Museum, four wells and also areas of parking within the town. The trustees hold these places for ' the the good of Camelford and its people'. The OCM is leased to facilitate a skate park and a Scout hut to support the youth in the area.
