The 'Friends' was founded to promote, support, assist and improve The Willis Museum. We also support members & non members with local projects such as a book of local history or like interest. We have resources facilities for our members and museum staff, a collection of local maps, photographs & oral tapes of peoples memories.

1) Trust is providing grant towards the help of cyclone & flood affected victims. 2) Established "Asia-Karim Public Library" for the improvement of education & knowledge of public. 3) Established a museum "Al-Haj M.A. Karim Museum" for the public for the preservation of local arts, photography, antiques, agriculture etc. 4) Started "Dr Abul Hossain Club" & community centre for sports & cultural

The Zay Initiative creates awareness; providing a platform for cross-cultural understanding and tolerance across the globe by promoting the findings of research projects and studies centred on traditional dress and body adornment. This is done through exhibitions and collaboration with museums and galleries to display the traditional articles of dress from the UAE and other Arab countries.

We educate the public in the area of the North Pennines in the history of mineral extraction and work to preserve, protect, and develop sites of historical interest connected with the industry and in particular, and for the public benefit, co-operate with and assist Durham County Council in the preservation, protection and development and improvement of the museum at Killhope.

Maintains museum displays at MOD Chicksands, and a smaller display at the Muckleburgh Collection, Norfolk. Co-operates with other museums and organisations to enhance the public awareness of the capabilities and successes of military Imagery Analysis(IA), formerly known as Photographic Interpretation (PI). Maintains an archive of Collection material at Royal Air Force Wyton, Cambridgeshire

Support to the Collections of the Royal Artillery through grant provision from membership subscriptions and donations and with occasional assistance with volunteer support to the fabric of the Collections and photographing Collection items.

We aim to maintain Mountsorrel's flora & fauna by maintaining a Site of Importance CBCW5814/2(25498) by traditional methods like hand scything. We aim to inform on Mountsorrel's past at our Monthly Meetings. Our Museum opened in September 2019 to display our artefacts and photographic material on Mountsorrel subjects to inform and educate visitors. Our Website also offers heritage information.

VOLUNTEER FIRE UNIT AND MUSEUM

OUR AIM IS TO PRESERVE , AND TO PROVIDE OPPORTUNITIES FOR RESEARCH AND EDUCATION INTO, THE HERITAGE OF RUSTINGTON, IN PART BY PROVISION OF A MUSEUM.

The preservation of buildings of historic and architectural interest in and around Hampshire so that they may remain for future generations to enjoy and, especially, the rescue and preservation of machinery and products relating to the brick and tile making industry at Bursledon Brickworks, Swanwick and its development as a Museum of Brickmaking.

The charity operates for the benefit of the public, a permanent museum, exhibition and information centre. The charity holds and/or owns collections of artefacts and specimens, protecting them for, and making them accessible to, the public, now and in the future. The charity holds exhibitions on the heritage, culture and biodiversity of Edeyrnion and the Dee Valley.

Fundraising and supporting the museum eg. on duty on desk for enquiries and shop, cataloguing and assisting with exhibitions, being trained to demonstrate resources to groups.

To develop a centre of arthurian interest at the county museum and to establish an annual oration in Carmarthen to be given by a distinguished scholar for which he/she will be adequately and reasonably paid.

Support group for Weston-super-Mare Museum. We hold speaker meetings, visits to other museums and heritage sites, and do fundraising. Some members do voluntary work in the museum. Also apply for grants for the museum's work

We meet monthly for the purpose of fellowship and have educational speakers. We support our village fetes with baking cakes and arrange outings to look at buildings, stately homes, museums and Federation activities.

Deed of Trust "To support such charitable purposes as the trustees may in their absolute discretion, determine and in particular but not without in any way limiting the generality of the foregoing nor restricting the exercise of the trustees discretion to establish and maintain for public benefit and to acquire, manage and dispose of its collection or any part thereof".

We conserve and display objects contained in our collection for the public to view in the museum.

The Charlbury Museum and Heritage Centre collects, displays, and maintains artefacts, archives, and photographs relating to the town of Charlbury, and assists research into its history, for the benefit of local people and the wider public in general.

Restoration, maintenance and operation of heritage railway vehicles of the LSWR. In particular those associated with RMS Titanic and the boat trains that served it. Workshop facilities will be located in Hampsire, but completed vehicles will be available to run on any heritage or mainline railway or museum.

To acquire and maintain a collection of artefacts, photographs, natural history and documents relating to the past and present of the parish of Lavenham, Suffolk

The charity runs a model car museum as part of a larger visitor centre in LLanfair Caereinion, Powys SY21 0SF

Own and maintain the historic barge LEICESTER TRADER as a heritage and learning centre for the navigation and trade of the River Trent and the people who worked the barges. The barge dates from 1953 and acts as a floating museum based at Newark, where it is open to the public on a seasonal basis.
