The museum commemorates the poet William Cowper, who lived in the house from 1768 to 1786, and his friend the preacher, hymnwriter and slave trade abolitionist John Newton (author of 'Amazing Grace'). It holds an important collection of lace and items relating to the archaeology and history of Olney and its surrounding villages. The historic gardens include Cowper's original summer house/study.

To rescue stray , feral and unwanted cats and kittens within Lancashire from abandonment , change in owners circumstances , straying , lost or found cats , unwanted litters of kittens. Volunteers foster from home and deal with members the public asking for our help . Maintaining database . Scan cats . Assessing cats health and behaviour and forming a plan . Educate on cat welfare.

NVS activities include the promotion of vegetable growing by home kitchen gardeners using the internet, regional and local lectures and by means of vegetable exhibitions and competitions. We put on demonstrations at various exhibitions and events held throughout the UK, some in conjunction with the RHS and Royal Agricultural Society of England.

We rescue & rehome dogs in need from Lincolnshire and surrounding areas. We care and look after them until a permanent home is found no matter how long it takes.

Enhancing learning, social and living skills of children with social deficits from underprivileged homes. Our program is individualised to fit each child's need so that they can reach their potentials. We offer social skills play-scheme, after school club and summer project which harnesses communication skills. We help children and young people have a voice, understand others and feel understood.

DURING THE YEAR THE CHURCH HAS HELD SUNDAY MORNING MEETINGS, SUNDAY EVENING PRAYER MEETINGS AND MID WEEK GROUP MEETINGS IN HOMES AS WELL AS OTHER IRREGULAR MEETINGS PRIMARILY BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY IN THE CRAWLEY AREA. OTHER EVENTS AIMED SPECIFICALLY AT YOUTH AND ADULTS WERE ALSO UNDERTAKEN.

Preference is given to female applicants of not less than 55 years of age and of modest financial means who have lived in the borough of Guildford for not less than two years.

The Scout Holiday Homes Trust was founded in 1969 by former Scouts to provide suitable self-catering holiday accommodation, in a welcoming family environment, for any family, or group, who has a member with special needs with their carers, single parent families and low income families ? in fact any family in which the quality of life is diminished by disability, infirmity or misfortune.

Hartlepool St. Aidans and St, Columba PCC maintains local parish activities of the Church of England. Services are held in both churches in the Anglo Catholic tradition. Parish operates a thriving kitchen each Thursday to provide hot meals and give groceries to be taken home. The PCC works closely with St. Aidans School. The parish works in a group with All Saints Stranton and St. Lukes.

The Centre is a small Charity providing a home and care primarily for horses with special needs. This criteria is controlled by the facts concerning the animal in question, its location and circumstances. No animal though can be accommodated unless there is sufficient room or care facilities for that animal at the Centre. The Centre cares for other animals in need if the circumstances permit.
