BRIDGE PRIORY TRUST SEEKS TO PROVIDE HOUSING FOR PEOPLE WITH LEARNING DISABILITIES WITHIN THEIR OWN AREA SO THAT THEY CAN LIVE INDEPENDENTLY FROM PARENTS/GUARDIANS ETC. TOWARDS THIS END THE TRUSTEES PURCHASED A BUNGALOW FOR TWO LADIES A NUMBER OF YEARS AGO. WE HAVE RECENTLY PURCHASED A SECOND BUNGALOW TO PROVIDE A HOME FOR ANOTHER TWO YOUNG PEOPLE WHO ARE SEVERELLY DISABLED.

A Christian Church providing all of the usual church activities including Sunday Services, Mid-Week Fellowship meetings, etc. with various outside ministries including Elderly Care Homes, Community Children's Club, support of the poor and needy, both overseas and at home.

The Charity of Ann Edwards was est by a bequest of Ann Edwards, for the building of almshouses to house clergy widows & female dependants of clergymen who had served in the Diocese of Gloucester. The almshouses were sold, & a new development of 8 housing units at Abbeydale was completed in 1994. The 1993 CC Scheme widened the qualification for residence to any poor single lady members of the CofE

The charity owns 14 almshouses that provide supported housing for single people aged 60 and over in social, financial and housing need with a past or present connection with Harlow, Essex

1 Dog At A Time is a group of volunteers who are dedicated to rescuing Romanian street and stray dogs and finding them loving homes here in the UK. We have a shelter in Romania where the dogs are kept safe, warm, have regular meals and given lots of loving care and attention. 1 Dog has funded dog neutering programmes and education programmes in local schools, which are essential for the long term.

Provision of housing to elderly ladies. formerly resident in Doncaster

To provide benefits for people over 60 years of age who are ill and need support to adequately look after themselves and who reside within a 12 mile radius of Newark Town Hall particularly those who wish to live in their own home but not to the exclusion of others who are in need.

Bringing together all refugee & asylum support agencies across Merseyside to network, share information, raise issues, campaign, and provide signposting. We also provide welfare/housing advocacy case work, we offer health and well being support and employment and training advice for individual refugees and asylum seekers to help with integration and settlement for life in UK.

SHELTERED HOUSING FOR ELDERLY PERSONS

The current activity is the maintenance and operation as a heritage attraction of 84 Plymouth Grove, Manchester, the home of Mrs Elizabeth Gaskell. The house is open to the public and runs a programme of activities and events.

The object of the Charity shall be the relief of poverty and/or sickness by the provision of housing accommodation for persons who (except in special cases to be approved by the Commissioners) are inhabitants of the Parish of Clifton-upon-Dunsmore or whose spouse, parent, child, brother or sister shall reside in the area of benefit on terms according to their means.

Educational charity set up to improve the catering provision to and understanding of older vegetarians and vegans and their diets whether in care or in their own homes. Provides guidance in print, via website, emails and correspondence and also via training courses. Also administers grants from its Vegan Fund and Vegetarian Fund.

The charity operated in the middle of Winshill low income housing area (formerly council estate). The charity was started to ensure services would continue in the area for all age groups. Children's, youth's and senior's groups are encouraged to take place at the Resource Centre. Also providing a venue for CAB, Slimming World, etc. Run by the local housing authority before 1 April 2015.

We support the work of shuktara, India which provides a safe home in Kolkata for 16 young men and 8 young women with disabilities who have lost their families and cannot live independently. Shuktara is now reaching out to families in Purulia district who have disabled children by providing physiotherapy, mobility assistance and to follow up on doctors' appointments checking on medication.

To give small annuities, special one-off grants, etc to ladies of any denomination who are in need and unable to earn. Grants are approved by the committee and temporary help can be given if the need is urgent. We give priority to ladies who are trying to maintain their own home although we also help towards a shortfall in care home fees.

Dunks Almshouse Charity provides accommodation to local residents in need of housing.

The main purposes of the WI organisation are to enable women to improve and develop conditions of rural life, to advance their education in citizenship, in public question, in music, drama and other cultural subjects and in all branches of agriculture, handicrafts, home economics, health and social welfare. Working together to put into practice these ideals.

The principle activities of the charity is the furtherance of the general religious and charitable purposes of the Religious Society of Friends (Quakers) in Britain in the area pf Craven District and Keighley Town Council areas and beyond. The charity owns and maintains 5 Quaker Meeting Houses and 1 closed burial ground and 2 open burial grounds. The charity operates a Bunk Barn at Airton.

Beacon Church Blackpool is a parish church in central Blackpool. HSHH & WF is a voluntary organisation committed to promoting the welfare of children, young people and families. We recruit and train volunteers who offer support, friendship and practical help to families under stress in their homes and online, helping prevent family crisis and breakdown. The training and experience the volunteers receive gives a basis for further education and work opportunities
