The Museum of British Folklore produces talks, events and exhibitions to educate the general public about seasonal British customs and traditions and raises funds to establish the UK's first permanent home of British Folklore.

We offer women writers (aged over forty) occupancy of Church Cottage for between two weeks and two months, to pursue personal work on any subject, intended for publication or performance. Appointments are made on merit. The Cottage is in Clifford Chambers, a village two miles from Stratford-upon-Avon. It is equipped comfortable and private. We pay bills and occasionally offer a bursary.

Provides housing to disadvantaged local persons.Sandhill Cottage and Goldhill Cottage have now undergone a much-needed major refurbishment, completed in the summer of 2017, partly financed by a grant from the Homes and Community Agency.

The St Bede Home and School Association provides support to St Bede C of E Primary school in Winchester. It's object is to advance the education and wellbeing of pupils of the school.

The charity was set up to provide a sensory room, sensory garden, toys etc for the children who are cared for at Sunflowers Care Limited, a care home for long-term sick children.

Provide subsidised accommodation to elderly persons in the local area consisting of six houses.

Working with local care homes and charities to provide funding for the relief of alzheimers and dementia sufferers and top-up grants to enable residents to remain in their care homes when their finances are exhausted. Our activities are currently limited to the Surrey/Hampshire border area.

To advance the education of pupils in particular by 1. Developing effective relationships between the staff, parents and others associated with the school; 2. engaging in activities or providing facilities or equipment which support the school and advance the education of the pupils.

LGC is involved in teaching the gospel of Jesus Christ as contained in the Bible to the local community, other visitors and through the TV and Internet to the world. We also visit homes and give out leaflets and invite people to our meetings, where their spiritual and physical needs were ministered to. We feed the needy, organise youth meetings to help build their future, and pray for people.

Students who have come to county to study are eligible if funding is made available to Lumbs Educational Foundation for the purpose in any particular year.

To enable women who are interested in issues associated with rural life (including arts, crafts and sciences) to improve and develop conditions of rural life, to advance their education in citizenship, in public questions (both national and international) in music, drama & other cultural subjects, and in all branches of agriculture, handicrafts, home economics, health & social welfare.

Rotherham Dog Rescue rescues and re-homes abandoned, neglected and unwanted dogs. The charity specializes in the rehabilitation of dogs that have behavioral issues and have an on board dog psychologist who works with these dogs until they are ready to find a new home. Full support and advice is available for any dog that is adopted from the rescue.

The charity holds fund raising events and raises funds for equipment or materials which improve the education and experience of the children at Nevill Road Infant and Junior Schools.

The charity is the home school association for Hunters Bar Infant School and is made up of all parents/carers of children at the school and staff. We organise events and raise funds for the school eg social events, annual fair and selling customised merchandise. The charity elects a committee who meet regularly and agree how funds should be used to the benefit of the school.

The Gallagher Trust funds and manages a Community Based Living Programme with the Ubumwe Community Centre in Rwanda to provides homes, full time care, love, education, recreation,sport, skills training and medical support to vulnerable and orphaned young people with mental and physical disabiliites who were abandoned when The Noel Orphanage where they were living closed in December 2014.
