The Club organises events to raise money to help individuals and organisations at home and abroad in a variety of ways, eg by providing aqua boxes to produce drinkable water, shelter boxes (tents etc.) in disaster ares of the world and financing the digging of wells. The Trust is the guardian of the Lyceum Theatre in Sheffield. Since its refurbishment in 1990 the Lyceum has played a significant role among the most prestigious touring theatres in the major English cities. Welcoming a broad range of professional touring drama, dance, music theatre and opera companies, the Lyceum is also the home each year to several local operatic societies.

The charity has supported children diagnosed with cancer and their families providing both financial and practical support during the child's stay away from home through collaboration with Helen & Douglas House Hospice, CLIC Sargeant at the John Radcliffe Hospital and the Lennox Childrens Cancer Fund.The charity also supports children when at home with trips out and gifts.

St Jude's PTA aims to strengthen links between home and school and to raise funds to finance 'extras' to broaden student's learning opportunities. The PTA has worked in partnership with the school to develop the infants and juniors playgrounds, to create a dedicated nature garden and has established the Summer Fair as a major event in the school calendar.

WDEF is an organisation made up of family, friends and colleagues of the late Workneh Dechasa seeking to raise funds to build an elementary school in his memory in his home village Malkaa Dhagaa-Gudar (Guder), Oromia, Ethiopia.
