Housing Charities That specialise in Accommodation

To support and provide amenities/facilities for nursing homes providing care for the chronically or terminally ill. To provide or assist in providing nursing/respite/day/palliative care for such persons wherever they are. To assist in providing counselling and information to such persons and their families/dependents on cancer and other terminal illnesses. To promote research.

Our remit is to support and provide medical equipment to the hospital and GP surgery when necessary and includes assisting people in our local community with a condition that requires additional aids at home but lack the income to purchase the equipment required. Applications for help must be made in writing to the Secretary and each application will be given due consideration by the committee.

The raising of funds for Familia Home and School

Providing and maintaining homes for aged persons and insofar as the income cannot be applied as aforesaid the trustees may apply income for relief in need, for the benefit of the public, of aged persons lining in or near the area of benefit.

Maintenance and management of Almshouses

To provide low-cost housing for those in need in the parishes of Bredenbury, Kyre, Hanley William, Stoke Bliss, Edwyn Ralph, Wacton or Collington.

The charity administers 6 single storey terraced almshouses. Accommodation is for independent living and single occupancy. 'Beneficiaries' are those in need, hardship or distress, with priority being given to the aged. The upto date 'area of benefit' is described elsewhere.

PROVISION OF AFFORDABLE HOUSING FOR THOSE IN NEED

THE CLUB ORGANISE VARIOUS FUNDRAISING EVENTS SUCH AS LOCAL CARNIVAL, SWIMARATHON, STALLS AT VARIOUS LOCAL EVENTS ALSO WE RUN A HOLIDAY HOME FOR THE THE DISABLED, WHICH IS LEASED AT A LOCAL HOLIDAY PARK.THESE EVENTS ARE ORGANISED TO RAISE FUNDS THAT ARE USED FOR INTERNATIONAL, NATION AND LOCAL CAUSE. ALL THE EVENTS ARE IN ILFRACOMBE AND DISTRICT AREA.

Arranging of worship services, young people's meetings, prayer and other church meetings. Hiring of facilities for same. Organising an annual church camp for affiliated fellowships from the UK and elsewhere in Europe. Support activities for associate fellowships in India and elsewhere. Hospital and home visits for elderly and infirm fellowship members.

FCS meets at the Conservative Club in Uppermill for our Sunday morning service. We pray together mid-week at member?s homes. FCS is a member of Churches Together in Saddleworth, participating in joint services, prayer breakfasts and this year?s Lent course. We welcome visiting speakers and our leaders attend the monthly Leader?s prayer breakfast in Oldham. We will be having a PAIS youth worker.

The charity operates in rural areas in Romania supporting families affected by extreme poverty and poor housing conditions. It supports a village day centre for children and young adults with special needs. It also supports a Romanian charity which provides artificial limbs for children whose families could not otherwise afford the necessary prostheses.

To relieve the needs of people over 65 who live on their own and do not have any family in the area by organising social events that will help them have a happier life.

We are a small rescue & rehoming centre for all cats but specializing in Persians. We rely on donations but also hold fundraising events such as online auctions on our Facebook group. The Charity is solely run by the founder at her home

The Village Hall has a number of regular events inc... Upholstery, Art, Table Tennis, Yoga.It is available for local residents to hire for private functions.It is also the home of the South Kilworth Bowls Club.The Village Hall has a monthly community cafe. Providing recreational facilities for people with special needs and/or limited abilities by providing cycling facilities in Bushy Park Hampton. Our users come either individually with carers/parents or from organisations such as Residential homes, Day Centres, Special Schools and other similar organisations. Our unpaid volunteers act as facilitators for the use of our more specialised cycles.
