Hemel Hempstead Methodist Church has the use of a modern church building and provides opportunity (open to all) for public worship, Bible study, social meetings particularly for the elderly and innovative styles of worship for young people and families. The church also facilitates involvement in community ventures such as the local food bank, services for the homeless and Street Pastors.

We run a bereavement counselling service for adults and children in the London Borough of Islington, and a Cold Weather Shelter for the homeless over the winter months. The latter operates out of 8 local churches, one for each day of the week.

Provision of accommodation and general support for non priority adult homeless

To relieve the needs of persons, who are in need, by virtue of being homeless or rough sleepers in Bristol, through the provision of support, advocacy and basic necessities for survival

Center for homeless and disadvantaged people. Open five times a week, providing meals, food parcels, clothing and help and support in accessing appropriate help around issues of housing, benefits, drug & alcohol addiction.

To provide social activities for homeless and the destitute within the local Community.To provide basic educational equipment and facilities to help ethnic minorities foster an interest in society and develop team building skills.To organise events and activates within the local district to educate, inform and train the youth and ethnic minorities to adjust into society.

We reach out to the community through the preaching of the gospel of Our Lord Jesus Christ. We do this through evangelising on the streets of Croydon, visit the Prisons and detention centres, organise Sunday services, Sunday school for children that attend services. Also, we organise a Saturday school for year 7 to 11 secondary school students.

The charities constitution is to relieve persons in need, particularly homeless and those suffering from alcohol addiction by counselling, volunteering and donations of free furniture.

Lets Get Growing provides regular gardening therapy sessions for adults of all ages experiencing a range of mental and physical health difficulties, including depression, anxiety, PTSD, bi polar disorder, dementia and mild learning difficulties. Also one-off therapeutic garden workshops for a range of groups, including addicts in recovery, homeless people, carers, refugees & asylum seeekers.

OxPat collects money through donations, fundraising events and boxes in Oxford businesses and colleges to alleviate the needs of the homeless and vulnerably housed. Run by volunteers, all income is distributed between Oxford homeless agencies chosen annually. Individual applications are considered. Administration costs are met by specific contributions from Oxford businesses.

For the public benefit, the relief of those in need, in particular but not exclusively, people experiencing homelessness and/or mental distress in the Coventry, Warwickshire and surrounding area through the provision of drama/performing arts workshops and other activities or forms of training/support.

Church runs Stay & Play during school holidays. This encourages parents to engage in play & craft with their children. Contributed to overseas crisis relief. Contributed toward Health & Hope - ministry to the poor. Contributed towards In Roads - Children's ministry.Church members volunteer and donate to the local Food Bank & the Bournemouth Health Bus. THE CHURCH NOT ONLY SERVES THE ROMANIAN COMMUNITY THROUGH SUNDAY WORSHIP SERVICE, BIBLE STUDY, YOUTH MINISTRY, SUNDAY SCHOOL, WOMEN'S MINISTRY BUT IS ALSO INVOLVED IN HELPING THE HOMELESS AND THE POOR FAMILIES THAT REQUEST OUR HELP.

In partnership with Christ Church Toxteth Park we serve St Michael's ward, a diverse and vibrant community of South Liverpool. Community development, work alongside homeless and vulnerable people (including offenders), children's and youth provision, care of older people, conservation of a unique cast iron church building and marking key life events such as birth and marriage.

To care for and re-home unwanted, abandoned or homeless cats and kittens in the Kent area, including the provision of sanctuary pens, boarding facilities, fostering, veterinary treatment and help with veterinary costs for cat owners and adopters on low income. To promote and improve the welfare of cats and kittens, including the running of a shop selling donated goods to support the cattery.

Relief of animals suffering from injury sickness ill treatment maltreatment or neglect including accomodation for unwanted and homeless animals. Education to prevent suffering and clinics for reception treatment and if necessary painless destruction of animals beyond all help.
