Marafiki Trust raises funds in the UK to support vulnerable children and their families through established charitable organisations in Kenya. These include a drop-in centre which provides ongoing physical, emotional and educational support for children identified as being at risk of finding themselves on the streets, and a centre which supports children with cerebral palsy, and their parents.

The charity works with those experiencing homelessness in the Black Country area. This includes those who are refugees, those seeking asylum, men and women who are homeless or vulnerably housed.

We raise money through voluntary donations from Manchester United F.C. fans and then support children's organisations, which are dealing with homelessness in Manchester and are providing access to amateur sport, namely association football, in both Munich Germany and Belgrade Serbia for disadvantaged and disaffected children and young persons.

To help individuals and churches to compassionately engage with and support people experiencing, or at risk of, homelessness in our city. We provide caring, supportive chaplaincy and lead outreach, groups and activities for the homeless community. We also train volunteers to get involved in our work of addressing the root causes of homelessness: poverty of resources, relationships and identity.

The main activity of the charity is the promotion and advancement of the Christian faith; it does this through the activity of the church whose aims include evangelism; community building; and worship and instruction in the Christian faith. Still Waters House provides good quality accommodation for persons who have experienced or are at significant risk of homelessness. We provide ongoing support, including guidance, mentoring and opportunities to gain life skills and experience giving them tools to break the cycle of homelessness. We manage a property in Birmingham that we lease from Green Pastures Housing to deliver this.

We are a voluntary organisation which works to provide rough sleepers with care packs of nutritious food, fruits and vegetables to help vulnerable people to maintain a healthy and balanced diet, enabling them to focus their attention on other, more challenging tasks, such as fighting addiction, or finding permanent housing and employment.
