Samaritans provide completely confidential emotional support 24 hours a day every day by telephone, face to face, letter and text and outside our branches at festivals, prisons, hospitals, schools, work places and with the homeless through a network of 201 branches in the UK. The vision is that fewer people die by suicide.

The organisation will provide one or more properties which will be available to house youngpersons (who are in or around the ages of 16 to 21), who are in, have recently left or are in the process ofleaving the care system. These young people may otherwise be at risk of facing homelessness or evenimprisonment.

Wallington Animal Rescue is a non-profit voluntary charity dedicated to the rescuing of domestic animals based in South London. The rescue continuously strives to reduce the population of homeless or unwanted animals by providing support and advice for animal welfare, rescuing, fostering and re-homing animals and promoting spay/neutering awareness programmes within our local community.

As a new charity currently supporting the homeless by distributing free food. Also distributing Islamic literature to the general public to remove misconception of Islam and to improve community cohesion.

Activity. The Charity completed the building of seven single bedded flats on the 15th March 2007 within budget. Two units were sold to the Reading Single Homeless Project charity number 279859 and the remaining five are let on a twenty one year lease ending in 2026.In September 2017 a joint construction project with Berkshire Womens Aid commenced and is due for completion in December 2018

Hope Restored provides services for the relief of poverty to those in financial hardship including the homeless and those in need.Our main activities include the provision of hot meals and drinks, snacks, food parcels, clothing, accommodation, equipment, social interaction and other support services.

SoundCafe (SCL) aims to inspire those who are homeless or socially isolated as a consequence of their living arrangements, by providing safe creative spaces. SCL offers opportunities for guests to access services that encourage their physical, emotional and spiritual well-being, enabling them to sing together as a choir, creative writing, arts, crafts and football health & well-being workshops.

The purposes of the charity are the prevention or relief of poverty and homelessness in Manchester and Salford by the provision of outreach and support services to individuals in need and/or charities, or other organisations working to prevent or relieve poverty and homelessness.

The rescue, rehabilitation and reuniting of destitute children living on the streets of Nairobi, Kenya with their families or placing such children with foster families. Magic Lantern runs interactive art history workshops in schools and a range of adult groups including prisons, homeless centres and hospices. We show that anyone can understand and enjoy art. We also show how art can enhance and bring to life any curriculum subject or topic and can help develop a range of life skills including problem solving, critical thinking, communication and confidence.

The Objects of the CIO are, for the public benefit, the relief of persons who are in need by reason of financial hardship, ill-health, unemployment, homelessness, education and such other economic or social disadvantage. In addition, for the public benefit, the advancement of the Christian faith in such ways as the charity trustees may from time to time decide.

A Drop in Centre for the homeless, vulnerable and socially disadvantaged individuals. We meet people at their point of need and offer food, warmth and friendship and through this contact build a relationship of mutual respect and trust. We work with a number of different local organisations and agencies who offer relevant support to help people take positive steps forward.
