Odyssians runs an activity camping holiday for adults who have disabilities and able-bodied people who work together.We welcome people of all abilities, including severe disabilities, all genders, and people from all backgrounds. Every year since 1994 we have taken over the beautiful Woodlarks campsite in southern England for a week.

Pen-y-ffordd Tennis Club is a small village club that exists to enhance the well-being of the local community by providing an opportunity to participate in healthy outdoor activities at minimal cost. The club provides for all age groups with a particular emphasis on encouraging younger members of the community to help stay healthy through their participation in friendly sporting competition.

The charity is a sea scout group that includes beavers and cubs. Activities are typical of any scout group, including swimming, sailing, canoeing, and camping.

1st Falfield Scout Group is a Community based group and offering over 200 activities, from abseiling and archery to drama, street sports and water zorbing, for boys and girls aged from 6 to 14 years of age.The Scout Group is committed to being inclusive of all young people, regardless of their gender, race, religion or belief, ability or disability and has a clear Equal Opportunities Policy.

The Sea Cadets has been in the Stoke on Trent area since 1938 providing activities for young people from 9-18 years old. As a micro-charity we provide these young people with activities and qualifications in Kayaking, Canoeing, Power boating, Sailing, First Aid, Cook Steward, Seamanship, Shooting, Engineering, Field Craft, Duke of Edinburgh. Recognised qualifications can by gained i.e. BTech's

Activities relating to scouting ie Hikes, camping, climbing, Faith, environment, for all children from the age of 6 to 14yrs. This encourages their own personal development and instil skills that make them a valuable asset to the community.

The charity provides and offers structured activities for young people aged 8-19 years, such as summer camps, music, art projects as well as other indoor & outdoor activities. We also offer training to volunteers who are interested in working with young people and other relevant training such as first aid, child protection, health & safety etc. We also offer achievement awards to young people.

We raise money to support Preston Hedge's Primary School in buying extra equipment and provide monetary support to help with projects to improve the school's facilities. This year we have raised money to develop an outdoor activity area and build a covered area for Key Stage 2.

We help young people to gain experience and qualifications to help and guide them into responsible adulthood. The activities are mainly, sailing, canoeing, boating, engineering etc all under the supervision of well qualified volunteer instructors. Operations well established locally and have a long history. The unit supports community functions in addition to fund raising to maintain the unit.

The scout group has a splendid headquarters where all the different sections of the group meet, for various activities.The headquarters is also used by other voluntary organisations from time to time. Who make a small donation to the scout group for this facility.In addition the scouts have various activities away from the headquarters including camping, hiking and other social activities.
