Our charitable activities are the 'bringing of environmental understanding to all'. We do this by the advancement of outdoor education, the protection of the environment and the pursuit of field studies.

The provision of sports and leisure facilities for the communities of Kirklees and surrounding neighbourhoods. This comprises swimming (including provision of an extensive lessons programme), fitness suites, keep fit classes, a wide range of sports hall activities, indoor/outdoor tennis, outdoor activities (including football, hockey, etc.), indoor climbing, indoor bowls and track & field events.

Operates the New Forest & Hampshire County Show. Manages New Park, Brockenhurst. Provides youth camping facilities. Supports agricultural & forest based activities and charities. Broad based education throughout the annual show.

Harlow Leisurezone, the new centre with both wet & dry facilities opened on the 23rd June 2010 at the Harlow College Site.Facilities include Swimming & Learner pools, Fitness Gym & Studios, Sports Hall, Squash Courts Trampolining Park, Climbing, all day nursery & catering facilities.

Promoting the renewal and growth of the Church through mission, evangelism teaching and training by means of a Christian Community which includes the running of holidays, conferences and camps. To reach children and young people both churched and un-churched through the operation of The Beacon Youth and Outdoor Activity Centre.

Alzheimer's Support exists to improve quality of life for people with all types of dementia and family carers. Services include: Dementia Advisers, Home Support, Day Clubs, carers groups, Alzheimer Cafes, Music for the Mind, Movement for the Mind, art groups, a range of outdoor activities, training courses for carers and local information and support offices.

The mission of Oakwood Youth Challenge is to challenge young people physically,socially and spiritually. We aim to build up local youth through a range of activities, providing programs for individual and team development. Additionally the site now benefits from a purpose built indoor Climbing Centre providing physical and social challenges to both young people and adults.

Educational and outdoor activities and support for young people who are not fully accessing main stream education

The Trust's mission is to release and empower people to develop their individual strengths. The Trust specialises in the development of young people with emphasis on experiential learning through the use of outdoor activities. A key focus is to indentify and develop interventions that benefit disaffected and vunerable young people.

The provision of community activities include swimming, football, climbing, squash, fitness classes, gym, softplay area, community events including bingo, table top sales, community cafe, private hire for school referrals, GP referral scheme, cardiac rehab, pre op cancer exercise group, meeting rooms for training courses or community meetings.

Provision of Outdoor activities to vulnerable underprivileged children in the Lambeth area consisting of a Nature Garden, Karting Project and Adventure Playground Project.

Children's Sailing Trust creates inclusive, accessible and affordable watersports opportunities by removing financial and disability barriers to participation. We use our public recreational, learning and accommodation facilities to develop physical and mental health and wellbeing through sailing, watersports and outdoor activities for all ages and abilities both locally and nationally.

The Charity is a community based Scout Group. The Group is made up of 3 sections catering for boys and girls from the ages of 6 to 14 1/2. Each section has a varied programme of events throughout including camps, oudoor activites such as archery, wall climbing and orienteering. As well as outdoor pursuits the children take part in craft activities and are involved with the local community.

Water based activities include sailing, kayaking, open canoeing and improvised rafting. We also offer a wide range of land based activities specifically: archery tag, assault course, tunneling, climbing wall and archery.

Enhancing people's lives through outdoor activities. Our vision means ENHANCING people's physical and mental health and wellbeing, economic return, including employment, the social value through OUTDOOR ACTIVITY such as grassroots participation in activities such as walking, cycling, adventure sport including climbing, canoeing, paddle boarding, sailing, windsurfing, mountain biking, etc.

The charity operates a heated, open-air swimming pool for 15 weeks of the year (end-May to mid-September) and, in February 2012, acquired the freehold of Beccles' Public Hall & Theatre. Both facilities provide the community with, in the case of the pool, healthy outdoor activity and for the Public Hall, a place where the community can meet and enjoy theatrical and other entertainments.

THE DEMENTIA ADVENTURE TRUST (DAT) WAS REGISTERED AS A CHARITY IN 2013 TO RELIEVE THE NEEDS OF PEOPLE LIVING WITH DEMENTIA, AND THEIR CARERS, BY:PROVIDING OR ASSISTING IN THE PROVISION OF HOLIDAYS, OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES OR OTHER SUPPORT AND,PROMOTING RESEARCH INTO THE BENEFITS OF ACTIVITIES WHICH ASSIST IN FURTHERING THE OBJECTS AND PUBLISHING THE RESULTS OF THAT RESEARCH
