Scouts are do-ers and give-it-a-go-ers. Yes, we go camping, hiking, abseiling, cycling and canoeing while having fun. We meet weekly, catering for youngsters aged 6 to 18 supporting them with skills they need for school, college, university, the job interview, the important speech, the tricky challenge and the big dreams: the skills they need for life.

Providing coaching in water activities (in particular canoeing) to young people, and the provision of camping facilities and equipment for water activities for youth organisations and others.

As well as social interaction and gaining confidence our young people work towards Youth Achievement Awards.Holiday Schemes are run throughout the year where there is a programme of activities. An annual residential trip in May over 2 nights at an outdoor activity centre.

To provide support and development of young persons through pursuits via weekly meetings and nights away through camping to secure an indepandant and confident approach in activities a young person may never have encountered. Team work is strongly encompassed in many activities and at all times the long established spirit of the scouting association is promoted.

We provide accommodation in Powys primarily intended for school students to participate in outdoor adventurous education and field study. The accommodation is also used for team building sessions, for intensive study sessions and for groups enjoying various outdoor activities.

We are a group of parents and school staff who meet regularly, we organise fund raising activities and allocate funds. We have recently paid for new outdoor activity toys for the Early Learning Years, Communicatin for the lunch supervisors and outdoor furniture.

Following the Scouting and Guiding Programmes which encompass personal development, learning skills, becoming Good Citizens whilst having fun. Taking Badges in various skills along the way and Camping etc.

We are a military style organisation for young people 8 years upwards, we undertake lots of different activities ranging from camping, climbing, canoeing, expeditons (including The Duke of Edinburghs Award) Field Craft, Map Reading, First Aid and much more.

To provide a regular meeting session for children of all backgrounds ages 5 - 16 as Beavers, Cubs, Scouts and Explorers enabling community networking, sports, camping, outdoor activities, learning life skills, fund raising, interfacing with local church and general character building and development into possible young leaders and explorer scouts.

The Trust provides campsite facilities and indoor accomodation for members of the Scout Association and other bona-fide youth groups set within mature woodland. Outdoor activities such as archery, crate stacking, an aerial runway and a climbing wall are either on-site or under development. Disciplined, uniformed group of young people who follow broadly a nautical theme based on customs & traditions of the Royal Navy. Activities include: participation in the Duke of Edinburgh scheme; training in sailing; canoeing; target shooting; and participation in a number of sports. The young people also are given the opportunity to take part in activity based camps and visit Royal Naval ships.

We provide progressive training for boys and girls in various skills, from age 5 yrs to adults - based upon The National Scout Assoc policies, leaders, in consultation with the children, arrange weekly and long term programmes, utilising local facilities, programmes consist of games, music & constructive work both indoors & out - camping, climbing, hikes, abseiling, water activities.

Bradford and Bingley Canoe Club and its members are dedicated to promoting canoeing and kayaking for fun, fitness, and friendship. The Club is active year round and there are planned activities throughout the week. Members of all ages are encouraged to compete in canoe slalom and down-river racing as well as river trips and social events.

Scout Group providing a range of activities to boys/girls age 6 to 14 to include learning skills such as orienteering, outdoor cooking, camping, hiking/map reading and various creative arts & craft, both individually and within a team.

We teach skills for life to young people in and around Pontnewydd in Cwmbran, Torfaen.These skills are taught via outdoor & adventurous activities such as camping, hiking etc.

Girl Guiding UK is a worldwide organisation for girls and young women offering a range of educational and challenging activities both indoor and outdoor. Activities include first aid, craft, food skills, camping, art, drama, team work and team building challenges etc etc

Scouting actively engages and supports young people in their personal development, empowering them to make positive contribution to society. It also provides youngsters with the opportunity to engage in both indoor and outdoor activities and to pursue a whole range of challenges.
