Leisure Charities

Most activities are mostly based in and around Holme Grange School and all involve fundraising for the school. Individual annual activities include a Bonfire Night Display, Quiz Night, Summer Fete, and Christmas Fayre. The Annual Dinner dance is normally off sight in a local golf club.

Operating Earlswood Village Hall to provide educational and recreational facilities for the people of Earlswood and the local area.

We provide athletics to the community through our membership scheme. Membership of our club is open all sections of the community regardless of race, ethnic origin, nationality, age, disability, gender, occupation, sexual orientation, religion, political or other beliefs.

THE BEATRICE DREWE TRUST OWNS AND MANAGES THE BUILDINGS KNOWN AS TICEHURST VILLAGE INSTITUTE AND THE ADJOINING RECREATION GROUND.

To promote the benefit of the inhabitants of Llanfwrog and the neighbourhood by associating together with the inhabitants, local authorities, voluntary and other organisations in a common effort to advance education and to provide facilities in the interest of social welfare for recreation and leisure time occupation with the object of improving the conditions of life for those inhabitants.

Relief of charitable need amongst the families of murder victims in the UK, Saving lives by working with the UK tourism and leisure industry to raise operational awareness of local risks to travellers and of security and safety considerations at holiday destinations; Advancement of education in radicalisation, tolerance and diversity

1) To advance the education of older people no longer in full time gainful employment in the London Borough of Richmond Upon Thames and its surrounding locality. 2) To provide facilities for leisure time and recreational activities with the object of improving the conditions of life for the above persons in the interests of their social welfare.

Physical and mental training and recreation and social moral and interllectual development through the medium of reading and recreation rooms library lectures classes recreations and entertainments or otherwise as may be found expedient for the benefit of the inhabitants of the Parish of Kislingbury and its immediate vicinity without distinction of sex or of political religious or other opinions

Recreation Ground

The Shirley Community Chaplaincy( North East) helps,supports and encourages ex-offenders to integrate successfully back into society. We offer counselling,practical support and a range of activities to assist ex- offenders to make the transition out of prison.Activities include; camping,fishing, walking and visits to places of interest. Ex- offenders are encouraged to train as peer mentors.

We provide and maintain a village hall for the use of the inhabitants of Cottingham and surrounding area. This is used for meetings, lectures and classes as well as other forms of recreation.

The objects of the CIO are to establish and run a community centre and recreation ground and facilities ancillary thereof and to promote for the benefit of the inhabitants of the Parish of Charlton Adam and Charlton Mackrell and the neighbourhood thereof, area of benefit, without distinction of sex, sexual orientation, age, disability, nationality, race or political, religious or other opinions

1. Meetings of members on every Tuesday where members take part in prayers and devotional songs etc. Talks and advice on health and well-being are given by health visitors from NHS. 2. Outings and activities are organised for the members who are elderly and disabled. 3. Various classes are organised, such as keep fit, yoga, cookery, flower arrangement etc.

Ownership and management of the Village Hall, the Village Hall Cottage, the Almshouses, the village allotments, The Copse, the Children's Play Area, the Recreation Ground and adjoining grazing field all in Westmill, Hertfordshire.

To promote the amateur sport of cricket. To advance education (including social and physical training) including providing cricket coaching. To promote community participation in healthy recreation, in particular but not exclusively by the provision of facilities for the learning, teaching and playing of cricket, and to promote the provision of facilities for recreation or other leisure time.

The provision of a village hall for recreation, training, exercise and education for the community in Seer Green and its immediate vicinity.

Bromley and Downham Youth Club provides a safe, secure environment for young people of the area. The building has a Sports Hall for football, basketball, dance, keep fit and gymnastics. Separate Boxing Gym with an active Boxing Club.

Activities include monthly meetings and group activites:Art, Calligraphy, Darts, Drama, Gardening, Handicraft, Reading, Table Tennis and Writing.Members raise funds and cater for local activities.The hall is also used by others:Birdwatchers, Ballroom Dancing, Children's Dancing, Pilates, Yoga, Wedding / Birthday Parties and for other functions.

Provision of a wide range of swimming classes suitable for all ages and abilities as well as a range of swimming activities during school holidays.

RRF Harrow continues to fulfil its primary goal to advance the Christian Faith by propagating the Gospel through local church meetings and Evangelistic Outreach Conferences and Seminars. We help families in distress, fund children's educational and recreational days out, supported other charities by donations, and continue to support new school structures in Nigeria and Kenya.

Harlow U3A is an affiliate of The Third Age Trust ("TAT"), operating in Harlow, Essex. We subscribe to the ethos and goals of TAT. Our membership is inclusive and diverse, providing opportunities for education, self-improvement, physical recreation and social interaction for "Third Agers" - those in or approaching retirement from full-time work, by working and sharing in "Interest Groups".

To establish and run a village hall and recreation ground for the benefit of the inhabitants of the Parish of Burpham and to act for such other charitable purposes for the benefit of the Parish of Burpham as the Committee think fit.

We act as a link between all the Companies and Battalions in our area and the Boys' Brigade National Headquarters.We also provide camping facilities at our Camping Centre in Dyffryn Ardudwy, Wales.We are also responsible for the National Boys' Brigade Memorial garden at the National Memorial Arboretum at Alrewas, Staffordshire.
