Leisure Charities

The promotion of community participation in healthy recreation in particular by the provision of facilities for the playing of tennis at the club premises, 53A Purley Bury Avenue, Purley, Surrey, CR8 1JF

The hall is hired out to Pre-school group, Cricket clubs, Probus, Woodmancote Society, Indoor Bowling club, Scouts, Cubs, Guides and Brownies etc., Dog handling, Women's Institute, Bishops Cleeve U3A, parties, village events, and the Parish Council meet monthly.

Provision and maintenance of a recreation ground and village hall for meetings, lectures and classes and all other forms of recreation and leisure time activities, with the objectives of improving conditions of life for those in the area.

The Charity is part of a national Organisation supporting young people in their development by way of skills and leisure based activities across a broad range to meet diverse interests.

Fund raising in connection with the charitable objects of supporting the facilitation and development of inclusive gymnastics for all in South East Northumberland, including pre-school age children, children with disabilities and schools gymnastics.

(i) to advance the education of the public and in particular the education of older people no longer in gainful employment in Epping Forest and its surrounding locality. (ii) the provision of facilities for leisure and recreational activities for the members in the interests of their social welfare. In furtherance of these objectives we currently have over 60 groups meeting on a regular basis.

FREE YOGA/MEDITATION AND AASANA (POSTURES) SESSIONS TO HELP STAY ACTIVE & HEALTHY. 5. CHILDRENS' DANCE CLASSES TO ENHANCE COMMUNITY SPIRIT AND KEEP AWAY FROM STREET MENACE. 6. NATIONAL, CULTURAL AND COMMUNITY FESTIVALS/ EVENTS. 7. BEREAVEMENT COUNCELLING

To preserve for benefit of the public physical artefacts and objects that relate to the history and heritage of the sport of falconry including its contributions to the scientific sub-disciplines of raptor biology,captive breeding and conservation in a world-wide context.

The provision and maintenance of a Village Hall, Green and Recreation ground for the use of the inhabitants of Beech and the immediate surroundings. Specifically, for the purposes of lectures, meetings, classes, physical recreation, leisure activities and all other forms of recreation with the object of improving the conditions of life for the inhabitants of Beech and its environs.

The Village Hall Committee Charity provides a community service by maintaining the village hall for the use of local groups including elderly, youth groups, sports & health groups. Money raising events meet some of the costs of upkeep.

OFCA runs a community centre offering facilities for hire by both affiliated and non-affiliated groups in the Felixstowe area. Over 25 groups use the centre regularly and others on an occasional or 'one-off' basis. Facilities include two halls, a coffee lounge, kitchen and tennis courts. Fundraising events include community markets, a Summer fair and a Christmas card delivery scheme.

Passion provides opportunities for young people to develop life skills and the capability to participate in society and grow into mature and responsible individuals. It provides recreational and leisure activities within a dedicated space where the young people feel safe to talk openly with the youth worker and volunteers about matters affecting their lives. Other activities include outreach work.

League Leaders supports young people across the UK breakthrough to play, redesign, work and grow from sport.Using the power of creativity and youth co-creation, our work helps them take part in sport, build life and employability skills, design and deliver real-world projects, and create career opportunities.

To maintain a village hall and surrounding land to provide a venue to be used for educational, recreational and other community facilities for the benefit and social welfare of the people of the parish of Copythorne and surrounding areas by charitable means.

The activities of Shandon Community Association are open to the wider community of Newcastle upon Tyne. However its main target group are residents of the 2 local wards of Kenton and Fawdon. The current programme offers , cheerleading, dance and gymnastic sessions and holiday activities for children, young people and their families.

The promotion of educational activities among older people and the encouragement of social gatherings. Achieved by the creation of separate self help groups under the umbrella of our organisation. Typical groups include; singing, gardening, science, arts, conversation, languages, discussion, photography, walking, etc. We currently have over 60 such groups.

The charity operates Parish Halls on the site of the Church of the Ascension, Hall Green, Birmingham. These provides space, open 7 days a week, where activities can take place to benefit: 1. Those in need by reason of age, disability, ill health and financial hardship2. Those suffering hardships through family separation 3. The whole community through recreation and leisure facilities

Feeding the homeless/needy.Setting up Prophetic sports for all ages and genders.Educational courses for all ages and genders covering the essential elements of the religion.Working in schools/colleges to help young Muslims understand, appreciate and practice their faith.

EDUCATION CLASS 6 - 2ND YEAR FULL TIME.SPORTSDAY-OUT TRIPS

The relief of people having one or more physical, sensory, or learning disabilities by the provision of facilities for the participation in table tennis with the object of improving their conditions of life.

A public park to be known as the "Victory Sports Ground" for the benefit of the inhabitants of the Borough of Southend-on-Sea and the recreation of the public.

The advancement of remedial training and physical education for people who are disabled or physically or mentally handicapped or who are deprived of such training or education by poverty or social and economic circumstances by any method which shall be recognised as charitable. With the emphasis on providing help/financial support, training and education to groups of youngsters with special needs.

We provide Martial arts and wellbeing to children with additional needs and learning disibilities and vulnerable adults. This is done through 1-2-1 coaching within our classes
