AWARDING TO SUCH PERSONS SCHOLARSHIPS, MAINTENANCE ALLOWANCES OR GRANTS TENABLE AT ANY UNIVERSITY, COLLEGE OR INSTITUTION OF HIGHER OR FURTHER EDUCATION.

Provision and maintenance of a village hall for the use of inhabitants of the Parish of Chalfont St Giles or within one mile of Memorial Hall without distinction of political, religious or other opinions, including use for:(a) meetings, lectures and classes, and(b) other forms of recreation and leisure-time occupation, to improve the conditions of life for the inhabitants.

Manage the West Cross Community Centre for the benefit of local residents, providing facilities for indoor sports (Bowls, Badminton, Aikido, Tai Chi), social functions(Dancing, club for disabled, pensioners' club, inexpensive lunches, discussion group, Bridge clubs).Also tap dance and ballet classes, health and fitness, facilities for local Councillor surgeries and private hire for parties, etc.

(i) To advance the education of the public in West Wilts and its surrounding locality and in particular the education of middle aged and older people who are not in full time gainful employment(ii) The provision of facilities for leisure time and recreational activities with the object of improving the conditions of life for the above persons in the interests of their social welfare

Herne Bay Harriers FC are a youth football club, giving young people in Herne Bay and the surrounding areas opportunities to stay healthy and enjoy playing sport through football.

The charity manages and maintains the hall as a community asset for use by the residents of Spencers Wood. The hall is self-funding and used by several local groups / clubs including Babies, Toddlers, Girl Guiding, Badminton, Drama, Karate, Needles and Natter, Seated Exercise classes and Board Games as well as holding a monthly Farmers Market and Repair Cafe. www.spencerswoodvillagehall.co.uk

We provide weekly after School tuition in Group Keyboards/piano lessons, guitar and band workshops, singing and song-writing. Our Saturday School provides English and Maths tuition for Primary School children and GCSE Maths and Science revision classes.We run year round indoor rowing coaching and mid-term Learn to Row (L2R) programmes for Year 7 to Year 12 students.

The objects for which the Company is established are: the promotion of education in music, drama and visual arts and the appreciation of the arts amongst the Community and to provide facilities in the interests of Social Welfare for recreation and other leisure-time occupation with the object of improving the conditions of life for the persons for whom such facilities are primarily intended.

RASCAL is a group made up of volunteers, that work in partnership with the communities First team and other service providers to help improve the lives of Somerton residents. The Centre delivers: GP Referral, Youth Clubs, boxing sessions, Dancing, Drama, Parenting groups, Bingo, PCSO Surgery, Food Co-op, community cafe, Poker, workshops, IT courses, sporting and youth sessions.

The provision and maintenance of the Village Hall and annexe for use by the inhabitants of St Mary Cray and the neighbourhood. Without distinction of political, religious or other opinions, including use for meetings, lectures and classes, and for other forms of recreation and leisure time occupation, with the object of improving life for the said.

The Simpson McCreath Trust supports a wide variety of organisations within the Borough of Berwick-upon-Tweed, with small donations to adhere to specific objectives. Grants normally range in size between -?500 and -?5,000.Most grants are made under the general headings of Sports, The Arts, Health & Social Welfare, Education, Community Facilities and the Environment.

Shardlow Village Hall serves as a hub for community activity, hosting a diverse range of events, meetings and activities. The venue offers a welcoming space for various local groups, such as fitness groups, playgroups, the WI, the local football club, and many more. It offers local residents of all ages a space to gather, socialise, and engage in a wide range of activities.

The Trust owns, maintains and manages the hiring of Peopleton Village Hall and the adjacent playing field and playground. It organises occasional fundraising events for the benefit of villagers.

The Charity runs and maintains Birdwood House a grade II listed building on Totnes High Street. The building is used for education and leisure activities for the benefit of local people. The gallery on the ground floor has a weekly changing exhibition of work by local artists.

Provides buidlings/facilities/open spaces for the general public for the purpose of sport & recreation.

Maintenance and administration of the premises. Activities include: Pre-school, badminton, carpet bowls, aerobics, table tennis, croquet, senior citizens club, karate, childrens dance,disabled group post office, .

Management of Community owned assets (Village Hall, village playground, and associated village green). Fund raising for development and on going management of assets.Organize events for the benefit of the community.

To provide or assist in the provision of facilities in the interests of social welfare for recreation or other leisure time, occupation of individuals who have need to such facilities by reason of their youth, age, infirmity or disability, financial hardship or social circumstances with the objective of improving their conditions of life.

The promotion and fostering of artistic knowledge and the appreciation of the arts by the provision of facilities for the education and entertainment of the public.

PROVIDING INFORMATION, COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT ACTIVITIES, YOUTH & YOUNG PEOPLES DEVELOPMENT INITIATIVES, HEALTH ADVICE, DEVELOPMENT SUPPORT AND FITNESS, HEALTH AND WELL BEING VIA SPORTS FOR THE GREATER COMMUNITY OF BARKING AND DAGENHAM AND SURROUNDING NEIGHBOURHOOD.

Hiring of hall with small bar facilities.

The charity manages the South Bookham SPACE and hires it out both for private functions and to regular users who provide services to the local community. At present regular users provide the following facilities: Pre-school group, Martial arts training, Parkour, Pilates, Yoga, Zumba fitness and tennis.
