Leisure Charities

Weekly Christian religious activities, welfare of members, hosting parenting seminars, sports day, evangelism and welfare reach out in the local community as well as bible teaching programmes for emotional and psychosocial development of members of the public

To maintain the village hall for the use of the inhabitants of the parish of Nursling and Rownhams for meetings, lectures, classes and for other forms of recreation and leisure time occupation with the object of improving the condition of life for the said inhabitants.

Develop young peoples awareness and skills in agriculture, country life, home crafts and general related topics. Provide and promote the facilities for recreation and other leisure time activities which will assist in their development and individual responsibilities so that they may grow to full maturity as individual and members of the community.

The Charity's objectives are to advance the education, to preserve and protect the good health and relieve the poverty of the residents of Seaforth by the provision of free and confidential information about charitable, voluntary, health and public services, the provision of recreational facilities and the development of training and learning opportunities.

Village Hall. Provides venue for a variety of sporting, social and cultural activities.

The promotion of community participation in healthy recreation for the public benefit by the provision of facilities and coaching for the undertaking of gymnastics and other related activities sports and exercises.

Community hall for activities for all, i.e youth activities, sports and various community events.

Community use for leisure and recreation

(a) the provision of recreational and leisure time activities provided in the interest of social welfare, designed to improve their conditions of life. (b) providing support and activities which develop their skills, capacities and capabilities to enable them to participate in society as mature and responsible individuals. (c) advancing education

Provision of premises, Abbey Fields Community Centre, for use by the local community and organisations serving the local community in activities covering the music, art, health & fitness, sport, social and family activities for all age groups, backgrounds and interests.

The prime objective of the choir is to promote the enjoyment of the Welsh choral tradition through its rehearsals and performances. This involves skills development and enjoyment of singing for members and entertainment for the wider community. In addition, the choir raises money for agreed charities.

monthly meetings for actives bowls , Table tennis , flower arranging and board games

Publication of quarterly journals and occasional monograms/booklets; provision of financial support for the British & Commonwealth Air Forces' memorial at St Omer France; assistance to the Royal Aero Club Trust; part-funding of WW1 curator at RAF Museum; advice to museums on WW1 exhibitions; provision of prizes for Guild of Aviation Artists & International Plastic Modellers Society.

To promote and maintain a recreation ground and recreational facilities for the benefit of the inhabitants of Seend.

The Athletic Club Limited is Owner of the land and various buildings. This site is used by the Rugby Club, Cricket Club and Lawn Green Bowls

Amateur dramatic and musical theatre society performing shows and musical entertainment in local theatres and function halls

TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF PUPILS OF HANSLOPE SCHOOL BY PROVIDING OR ASSISTING IN THE PROVISION OF EDUCATION, RECREATIONAL AND OTHER CHARITABLE FACILITES FINANCED BY THE LOCAL EDUCATION AUTHORITY OR THE DEPARTMENT FOR EDUCATION AND EMPLOYMENT (DFEE). IN FURTHERANCE OF THE OBJECT BUT NOT FURTHER OR OTHERWISE THE TRUSTEES MAY UNDERTAKE ACTIVITES WHICH PROMOTE THE CHARITABLE WORK OF THE SCHOOL.

Provision of football coaching and mangement of football teams in the Kirk Deighton area for under 17 young people.

The charity is a recreation ground provided for informal recreation and some organised sports. There is free access to the open space at all times.

The Seaview Village Regatta provides an annual sporting event in the village of Seaview on the Isle of Wight. These activities are open to all residents and resident visitors of the villages of Seaview and Nettlestone. The sports include sailing, Tug-of-War, Swimming, Diving, Children's Beach Sports, small-engine motor boat racing and sea rowing.

The school fund is used to hold funds which are given from parents for school activities and donations from charities to assist families with certain needs.Monies banked in this fund are used for such items as trips / swimming / theatre / photos / music lessons

We are an Early Years setting that provide pre-school places for 2 - 4 year olds. We can offer Flying Start and Early Years education funded places as well as fee paying children
