The principal activity and achievement is the donation of the whole of the income of the charity each year to Knowle Parochial Church Council (Knowle PCC), which has the legal obligation of the upkeep of the church clock and weather vane. Knowle PCC treats this donation as a fund restricted to the upkeep of clock and weather vane.

The Trust is administered by Monkleigh Parochial Church Council and exists to provide grants to elderly widows resident in the Monkleigh area.

The Beacon Church is a community-focused church in the Parish of Arbourthorne and Norfolk Park, Sheffield. The Beacon operates a variety of Fresh Expressions of Church, and seeks to be a loving and caring community. Within the Parish, we are committed to promoting the whole mission of the Church, evangelistic, pastoral, social and ecumenical.

Primary activities are fundraising for restoration and continued maintenance, recruitment and development of bell ringers, ringing the village bells for services and community events.
