Religion Charities

The witness, ministry and mission of the Christian Church according to the rites, tenets and articles of faith of the participating church denominations of the Local Ecumenical Partnership: Church of England, Methodist and United Reformed Churches, and operating principally within in the Ecclesiastical Parish of Valley Park, Chandler's Ford, Hampshire.

The charity's objects and its principal activity continues to be that of the advancement of religion in accordance with the Orthodox Jewish faith and the relief of needy persons. The policy adopted in furtherance of these objects is to distribute the funds as and when the trustees and directors see fit to these worthy causes and there has been no change in this during the year.

We are a Baptist Church in Bromley, South East London and exist to spread the good news of Jesus Christ and in providing various reliefs to members and those in our community aim to also spread Jesus Love to those around us.

To advance the religion of Islam for the benefit of public by holding of the Congregational Prayers and religious lectures according to the Sunni Sect of Islam (Ahle Sunnat Wal Jammat, Barelvi School of Thought).The Promotion of equality and diversity for the benefit of the public by promoting the elimination of discrimination on the grounds of race, disability and ethnic origin.

The church maintains regular Sunday worship and a programme of fellowships to help develop faith and nurture discipleship. There is a Youth ministry, including participation at an annual Conference 3Gen. The Church runs a Fresh Food Bank weekly operating with an open door policy, no referrals requested. It supports the Neighbourhood Forum, the Brent Multi Faith Forum and Churches Together.

The Church is part of a quarterly preaching plan (produced by the Circuit of which Lichfield Methodist Church is part) which ensures regular acts of worship take place - open free of charge to anyone who wishes to attend. The Church runs a coffee shop, fellowship groups and a youth club - also open to everyone.The trustees have had regard to Charity Commission's guidance on public benefit

Barnwell Baptist Church is located in the Abbey Ward of Cambridge and seeks to serve the local community as a place of worship, but also as a place to find help, support, care and compassion. It is a growing Church with people finding a warm welcome and a place where they are accepted and included. The Church runs a number of regular activities and is also heavily involved in the local community.

Rookhow is a 300 year old Grade II* listed Quaker Meeting House and Bunkbarn in the Rusland Valley, Cumbria. Our aim, as well as providing a gathering place for Quakers and accommodation especially for disadvantaged groups, is to be a local community resource as a venue for meetings and workshops. The surrounding ancient oak woodland is a valuable resource for learning and retreat.

HOLDING OF CHURCH MEETINGS ON SUNDAYS AS AN EXPRESSION OF CHRISTIAN BELIEF. MID-WEEK BIBLE STUDIES, ALPHA AND MARRIAGE COURSES PROVIDED FOR PEOPLE TO DEEPEN THEIR FAITH, RELATIONSHIPS AND UNDERSTANDING OF THE CHRISTIAN FAITH. GROUPS FOR CHILDREN AND YOUTH. OUTREACH EVENTS AND ACTIVITIES.

To advance Theravada Buddhism, in particular, but not exclusively, through teaching and instructing the public in the transitions, practices and beliefs of Theravada Buddhism and through the provision, maintenance and support of a temple and residential centre for Bhikkhus (monks).

The church is now open every Sunday for celebrating the Divine liturgy for the Coptic community in Guildford and the surrounding areas. The church provides on Sundays, Bible studies which is open to the Coptic community and members of the public. The church organises Sunday schools & youth meetings which provides guidance to the infants & youths of the church on the Christian teachings.
