The London Buddhist Centre teaches meditation and Buddhism in a way that is relevant to contemporary western life. It is a non-proselytising public centre, open to all, with no expectation of Buddhist interest / involvement. The Breathing Space programme run by the Centre teaches Mindfulness Based Approaches to help prevent relapse into depression and addiction and to manage stress and anxiety.

Affording facilities for women to take advantage of retreat, training and ordination in the Buddhist religion

Gaia House is an Insight Meditation Centre offering a year round programme of silent retreats with meditation instruction and teachings drawn from the Buddhist traditions.

We support, advance and encourage the study and practice of Buddhism and mindful living in accordance with the teachings of meditation master Thich Nhat Hanh, in the UK and overseas, in keeping with the Five Mindfulness Trainings of the Order of Interbeing (Tiep Hien). We assist and encourage the formation and activities of regional and local groups having this common purpose.

The main object of the charity is to support the development of a Theravada Buddhist Monastic Sangha worldwide. The Charity supports visits by monastics, retreats and the development of infrastructures for monasteries..

INTER-FAITH AND EDUCATIONAL ACTIVITIES FOR BUDDHISM.

To promote the practice, teaching, spreading and general advancement of the Serene Reflection Meditation School of Buddhism as exemplified within the Order of Buddhist Contemplatives. This is done through the thorough training of monks, and the support of our lay congregation, by a full programme of retreats, residential training, festivals, Dharma weekends and meditation days throughout the year.

The charity advances the Buddhist religion by overseeing the training and ordination of new members of the Triratna Buddhist Order and by making the teaching of Buddhist as presented by Urgyen Sangharakshita available on an international basis to the general public. The charity operates a retreat and study centre located in Herefordshire open to anyone interested in exploring Buddhism.

The principal activity of the charity is to promote the Buddhist faith through the activities of teaching, study, practice and the observance of moral discipline all within the Buddhist tradition of Je Tsongkhapa.

Jamyang Buddhist Centre provides classes in meditation and Buddhist philosophy.

The principal activity of the charity during the year was that of a Buddhist Temple, religious teaching, meditation Centre, administration support for new Temple building and awarding grants for Buddhist research.

The Qing Liang Buddhist Association organises regular weekend activities, including guided meditation, sutra reading, and lectures on Buddhist doctrine, history, and arts.
