To advance education in the study and practice of engineering among young people by making grants to provide information and advice, and promote the status of engineering to young people, who wish to study or work in engineering and by promoting studies in mathematics, the sciences and technology (STEM),

To advance the education of the public in the art and science of music and operatic music in particular.

We are a Construction and Built Environment sector charity raising funds to develop support networks for people in our sector dealing with cancer; developing guidance and advice including on how to reduce the risk of cancer and promote health and well being; and raising money to fund research to improve the science behind prevention, detection and treatment of cancer for everyone.

The activities of the Association are directed towards furthering the teachings of Christian Science by maintaining links with its members and providing spiritual inspiration. Its activities are entirely religious in character and every September an association meeting is held at which members and invited visitors hear an address given by an invited speaker (see Christian Science Church Manual).

To give women the opportunity of advancing their interests in arts, crafts, sciences, rural life issues, drama and other cultural subjects, by working together through the WI organisation.

Education of women in its broadest sense - talks covering nature, science, fashion, home crafts, history: culture - theatre and places of interest visited: issues of the day discussed

Aims to maintain, promote, improve and develop the Public education and appreciation of the art and science of choral singing by public concerts, recitals and the commissioning of new work for women's voices.

The Redstone Foundation aims to promote its objects through making financial awards, prizes, grants and scholarships in recognition of valuable contributions to the subjects of engineering, evolutionary computation and computer science. The foundation also carries on other activities which are consistent with its charitable objects.

We financially supported five logic-related meetings and held the BLC Annual Meeting with talks on logic in mathematics, philosophy and computer science.

The charity objects are to:? Relieve the poverty and hardship within people in the community. ? Advance the education of the members and to facilitate the provision and access to training on basic skills in English and Mathematics. ? Provide recreational and leisure activities to reduce social isolation or distress.? Deliver health and nutrition information to the the community.

SUPPORTS RESEARCH AND TEACHING IN MATHEMATICS AND MATHEMATICAL SCIENCES (e.g. PHYSICS) ESP WHEN CONNECTED TO FOUNDATIONAL AND PHILOSOPHICAL QUESTIONS CHIEFLY BY RECORDING AND PLACING ONLINE AUDIO AND VIDEO RECORDINGS OF RESEARCH MEETINGS, LECTURE COURSES, INTERVIEWSAND PANEL DISCUSSIONS WITH LEADING SCIENTISTS AND BY SPONSORING SUCH DISCUSSIONS AND MEETINGS.

Activities for persons interested in Astronomy.i.e. Monthly general meetings with speakers (either professional or a member).Weekly observation sessions if weather conditions allow.Talks/demonstrations/observation(eye/binoculars/telescopes) sessions for schools, youth groups and adult groups if requested.Open meetings e.g. National Science Week, National Astronomy Week, Star Parties etc.

The preservation and conservation of the public benefit of the heritage of the genetic biodiversity of sheep breeds in the UK and the environment to which they are adapted. To advance the understanding, education and awareness of society to the benefits of science underpinning sheep breeding, their environments and their utility.

To support citizens and communities to make lifestyle shifts that the science says are needed to stop climate change, providing them with the tools and community to sustain that change, and enable a shift in wider cultures and mindset as they go. Our focus is the UK, but have international collaborations and activities too.

The purposes of the W I organisation are to enable women who are interested in issues associated with rural life, arts, crafts and sciences , to improve & develop conditions of rural life, to advance their education in citizenship, in public questions both national & international, in music, drama other cultural subjects & in all branches of health and social welfare.

Then purpose of IMPEF is to promote, improve, develop and foster the appreciation, understanding and education of the art and science of music from any era and in all its aspects, including but not limited to the presentation - independently or collaboratively - of: public concerts; music competitions and other music connected presentations as well as learning opportunities of people of all ages.

Providing grants for travel and registration fees for attending scientific conferences and seminars. Providing funds for the cost of profesional journal subscriptions and textbooks. Providing funds for IT facilities supporting research activities.

The society's function is to bring astronomy education to the general public and provide a regular meeting place for those interested in astronomy and space sciences. Alongside our monthly meetings, our outreach work includes dedicated observing events and talks to schools, youth groups, adult groups and other external groups. All ages and abilities are welcome.

To educate the public in the arts and sciences and in particular the art and science of music in relation to Youth Bands.

We hold spiritual gatherings, classes in the sacred sciences and workshops such as martial arts, calligraphy, natural health & parenting. We actively collaborate with other organisations to offer community cohesion events and opportunities. Our largest project is 'Alamiyah Schools- a holistic independant schooling system from the early years through to pre-university shaped by the Prophetic model.

Annual meeting with programme of speakers in sciences and arts. Irregular further meetings. Encouragement to young scholars to study in Germany. Help with German scholars visiting UK and funded by the Humboldt Foundation

To promote the subject of astronomy by holding lectures, observing meetings and events that stimulate discussion and interest in the science.

1. To provide in-service training to primary and secondary teachers via quality mentorship by trained local teachers .2. To incorporate STEM project based learning.3. Other inputs that would improve the learning capacity of beneficiaries.In Uganda and internationally

The objects of the charity are advancement of education in the art and science of musicians and in particular to 1) provide specialist tuition and performance for young musicians in the field of authentic performance practice; and 2) to provide bursaries to assist in the purchase of instruments for young musicians. All are undertaken to further our charitable purposes for the public benefit.
