An annual meeting of the association is held to further the teachings of Christian Science and thereby the public practice of healing. Students from the UK and overseas, who have previously completed a 2-week course of instruction in the teachings of Christian Science and have become members of this or other associations, may by inivitation attend these meetings .

Under the terms of the Charity the Trustees shall apply the annual income of the Trust Fund at their discretion for such charitable purposes and in particular for the advancement of education and research into matters scientific and literary interest.

Bursaries are provided annually for individuals undertaking natural science projects.

The objects of the Trust are the due promotion and funding of the teaching, study and practice of the art and science of spiritual awareness, meditation and healing for all living beings.The Trust will fund various projects for the public benefit as listed in the Trust Deed

The Charity's activities enable one or more students studying Environmental Sciences at the University of East Anglia to further their academic research in this country or abroad,before completing their final undergraduate year.

The Trust has an educational aim. Preference has been given to work in women's studies and social and cultural sciences - especially Sociology - as well as health-related topics. The Trust gives up to three small grants each year.

Presenting public orchestral concerts in Hitchin and the surrounding area, to advance, improve, develop and maintain public education in and appreciation of the art and science of orchestral music in all its aspects.

Research and provision of renewable energy systems for education and small-scale manufacture (developing world). Providing Science Technology Engineering Arts and Mathematics (STEAM) facilities to education establishments. Working to provide accessible digital tools for learning in communities.

Promotion of scientific discussion and dissemination of scientific information concerned with ornithology, particularly on avian systematics, taxonomy and distribution, pursued through the club's publications, especially the Bulletin and regular meetings.

NANAMIC CIO exists to represent the views of post-16 Mathematics education in the United Kingdom. This is done by belonging to national mathematical bodies, where our voice can be heard, and by responding directly to government consultations.In addition the charity provides Continuous Professional Development events which are tailored to the requirements of individuals and organisations.

Advancing the education of the public in the geology of the Builth-Llandrindod Inlier and surrounding areas, its importance and its influences on the biodiversity, landscape, and heritage of the local area. By providing educational materials and resources including information boards, website content, self-guided walks, as well as facilitating research and scientific collaboration.

To promote, improve, develop and maintain public education in, and appreciation of, the art and science of music in all its aspects by the presentation of public concerts, and by such other ways as the Society shall determine from time to time.

IN ADDITION TO THE CHARITABLE ACTIVITIES THE SOCIETY PROMOTES LECTURES ON SCIENTIFIC SUBJECTS EACH MONTH FROM SEPTEMBER TO MAY EVERY YEAR.

Promotion of Arts/Culture/Heritage/Science

The aim of the North British Functional Analysis Seminar is the encouragement of study and research of functional analysis and its connections to other areas of mathematics.

We will put on events and run other fundraising on the school site and in the local community

Regular lectures on subjects relating to the title of the Society.

- Provide financial support and aid development of projects that aim to improve healthcare delivery or improvements in public health to the population of South-West Uganda. Provide grants to individuals from South-West Uganda who want to study health related science. Provide financial support to organisations that aim to improve the education of children in South-West Uganda

FOR THE PROMOTION, ENCOURAGEMENT AND FURTHERANCE OF NATURAL SCIENCES OF THE STUDENTS AT CHEW VALLEY SCHOOL

Holding annual teaching and refresher sessions for the pupils of J Richard C Kenyon CSB ---which nurture and advance members' practice of Christian Science spiritual healing in their local and global communities, and which teach and encourage members to serve the public as Christian Science practitioners (healers), a core aspect of the activities of the Church of Christ, Scientist, worldwide.

Promotion and advancement of the education of the public in the science of astronomy through the provision of lectures, advice, equipment, an astronomical Library and facilitation of astronomical observations.

As part of the larger WI movement,we aim to enable women interested in rural life, including arts,crafts and sciences to improve and develop conditions of rural life, to advance our education in citizenship, in public questions both national and international. We seek to give women the opportuniy of working together to put these ideals into practice.

The objectives are the prevention or relief of poverty, the advancement of education, the advancement of religion, the advancement of health, the advancement of the arts, culture, heritage or science and the relief of those in need by reason of age, ill health, disability, financial hardship or other disadvantage.

To advance public education by the promotion of the study of all branches of science.

TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE GENERAL PUBLIC BUT PARTICULARLY MEDICAL AND SURGICAL PROFESSIONALS IN THE SCIENCE AND PRACTICE OF SURGERY BY PROMOTING AND ENCOURAGING THE STUDY OF AND RESEARCH INTO SURGERY AND PAYING OR CONTRIBUTING TO EDUCATIONAL ACTIVITIES RELATED TO SURGERY NOT PROVIDED BY THE NATIONAL HEALTH SERVICE.
