The charity's objects are to advance public understanding of science technology engineering and maths by providing activities as an annual festival of science and curiosity.Opportunities are targeted for the people of Nottingham and the East Midlands region and are designed to stimulate and nurture curiosity, creativity and innovation and to facilitate dialogue between researchers and public.

To advance, promote, develop and maintain public education in, and appreciation of, the art and science of male voice choral singing in all its aspects, particularly, but not exclusively through the holding of an international festival

The principal activity is the publication of the Journal. Our policy is to publish research into the cause, diagnosis and cure of disease in man. Any profits from such publication are used to promote research in this field.

We promote gender equality & diversity by working in partnership to: Provide support to encourage & enable young women, to study science, technology, engineering and maths (stem); organising conferences, etc & other educational activities; Inspiring & supporting young women to fully develop their potential; promote achievement of women &young women & promote them as role models

CANCERactive is a charity that exists to provide information from all published scientific sources around the world so that people wanting to beat cancer can make more informed choices.

Compassion bases our community outreachAll are most welcome to our Sunday service, our Sunday School (up to age 20) and Testimony Meetings.Our Reading Room is open to anyone wishing to learn more about Christian Science and is known as a place of sanctuary. We sponsor public talks on Christian healing and daily seek to address local, national and global issues through prayer.

The BDA GET exists to advance education and other purposes related to the science of dietetics. The Trust can make grants to individuals and to recognised associations or groups of people engaged in dietetic research and associated activities.

Providing simple, clinician-led, blood testing at venues chosen by the charity to provide the best way of detecting cancers or potential disease where this method has a recognised level of accuracy. Invitations or requests to undertake testing/training in communities is a major part of the activities and research and awareness in specific areas of prostate and gynaecological cancers are paramount.

The charity provides an educational programme for schools which is National Curriculum linked with work sheets available for topics at Key Stages 1 to 4. More advanced studies are available for colleges, community groups and the general public. The Centre offeres a unique learning experience which includes looking at areas of former quarrying which have geological or wildlife interest.

THE COMMITTEE IS ESTABLISHED TO PROMOTE THE UNDERSTANDING AND APPLICATION OF THE CHRISTIAN SCIENCE RELIGION BY THE HOLDING OF MEETINGS FOR YOUNG PEOPLE & THE PROVISION OF OTHER ACTIVITIES WHICH FOSTER AMONG YOUNG PEOPLE AN AWARENESS & AN APPRECIATION OF THE VALUES & TEACHINGS OF CHRISTIAN SCIENCE & WHICH ENCOURAGE THE PRACTICAL APPLICATION THEREOF AND SUCH OTHER APPROPRIATE ACTIVITIES.

To provide short term relief aid to Kachin IDPs living along the Kachin State and China border, and those who displaced with Kachin State. To provide financial grants to buy basic medical equipment for IDP clinics and hospitals. To provide grants for construction of schools and study materials. To support legal cost for the victims of human rights abuses & support awareness program on human rights

We work with research groups, nonprofits, communities, NGOs and governments to facilitate conservation. This includes conducting research, awarding grants, and supporting science-based policy and advocacy. Our work is centred on threatened marine species such as sharks and rays, that serve as umbrella species to the wider marine environment.

The sponsorship of 31 children and young adults through education age from 9 to 24 years. It includes 3 in 6th form and 14 in higher education. Provision of 6 breakfast clubs in 6 schools feeding just under 900 pupils every school day. Enhancing and improving facilities in the 6 schools through purchase of computers, installing solar panels, set up science labs and also replacing school furniture.

The Polar Citizen Science Collective creates opportunities for research and public education through citizen science, leveraging the reach of polar travelers to enhance understanding and protection of the polar regions.

Advance of health, education & research in health & related sciences by charity means for public benefit in particular but without limitation to promote education & training of individuals to assist qualify as ocular oncologists as trustees think fit, without limitation awarding training grants & scholarships to aspiring ocular oncologists to assist them attend universities and training hospitals.

The charity continues to fund research on cerebral palsy and other neurological conditions that cause disability. This includes basic science research to help understand the causes of disability and research that focuses on the effectiveness of interventions to improve disability, wellbeing and the the impact on relevant health services

This is a breast cancer charity for the patients attending The Prince Philip Hospital, Llanelli, Withybush Hospital, Haverfordwest and Bronglais Hospital, Aberystwyth.We provide funds for those in hardship as a consequence of treatment for Breast Cancer.We fund research into breast disease.We provide equipment and facilities for the Breast Clinics.

The key services we offer are:- Educational, vocational and employment training - Information Advice and Guidance (i.e. employment, welfare benefits etc)- Digital Inclusion, ICT, ESOL and Employability workshops- STEM Programme (robotics, coding, mobile phone apps design and software programming)- Supplementary and after school learning activities in Maths, English (KS2, KS3 & KS4)
