The Sustainable Nitrogen Foundation undertakes and supports scientific research associated with biological nitrogen fixation and its use in agriculture to reduce the use of harmful nitrogen fertilisers and to improve crop yields. The Foundation is particularly concerned with the development and use of biological nitrogen fixation in crops grown by small-holder and subsistence farmers.

This society holds an annual scientific meeting promoting medical care in the field of dialysis and vascular access. Our income is through membership fees, the cost of attendance at our annual conference and through sponsorship by medical device and pharmaceutical industries. Our annual outgoings currently are related to the running of the annual conference
