To promote, improve, develop and maintain public education in appreciation of the art and science of choral music in all its aspects by the presentation of public choral concerts and by such other ways as the Society through its Committee shall determine from time to time.

The charity aims to educate the public in the arts and science of music by performing choral concerts of high standard with soloists of national standing. It is a mixed choir of about 144 voices and performs major works from the choral scene, from traditional classical to modern. Most of its concerts are in Salisbury Cathedral but occasionally it combines with other choirs and performs abroad

Provide information, advice, skills and training opportunities for refugees, migrants and locals. Delivering projects that promote community cohesion, integration, reduce barriers between different communities and improve access to services in London borough of Westminster. Deliver tuition classes in subjects of Maths, Science, English and Arabic language classes for children aged between 5-15.

Promotion of the Christian Science Religion

Provide accommodation for the relief and care of active members of the Christian Science Church who are in condition of need, hardship or distress

The objects of the Charity shall be to advance, improve, develop and maintain public education in, andappreciation of, the art and science of music in all its aspects by any means the trustees see fit, includingthrough the presentation of public events.

Mainly provides academic support for individuals and research institutions. In addition, the trustees give grants to other charitable organisations with non scientific objects.

We promote awareness and support research into the causes, prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and cure of brain and mind conditions. We support charities and not-for-profit organisations within the brain and mind medical sphere: offering grants to researchers conducting their work at registered institutions, providing advocacy and advice as well as sharing outcomes. We operate in the UK and USA.

Over the last year the CHFG has continued to provide a focal point for clinicians, managers and policy makers in the NHS and beyond to discuss and build an understanding of human factors and it's impact on patient safety.We continue to host Open seminars (free to delegates) and are running several projects sharing best practice in improving patient safety supported by human factors science

Whale Wise advances marine mammal conservation by:a) studying the interaction between marine mammal populations and human activity through scientific research;b) engaging the public with our work and marine conservation generally.

Our work focuses on our three core themes:1. Enabling positive Encounters between those who disagree,2. Helping inform and Educate,3. Equipping and Empowering people to advocate for greater inclusionIt aims to tackle misunderstandings about LGBTI people through better education of the science surrounding sexuality and gender issues, and the impact of prejudice on their mental health.

Promoting research, scholarship and public interest in the history of philosophy.

The charity gives women the opportunity of working together & to develop their education. Bursaries are given to attend Denman, the NFWI residential college where arts, crafts, sciences and home economics are taught. Weekly and monthly activities are enjoyed by members. Tai Chi, Country Dancing, Book Club, Drama are some of the activities in which we are involved.

The Society's objectives are to further the research and knowledge into prevention and management of Hydrocephalus and Spina Bifida. It has over 190 members from 29 different countries, and holds an annual scientific meeting (ASM) every year where research and knowledge are shared and disseminated. It is active in supporting folate fortification of flour to prevent neural tube defects.

Build on Books reduces poverty in Sierra Leone by building a strong foundation for development based on education, disease prevention, and food security. We provide books, water, sanitation, farms, school buildings, school furniture, science labs, healthcare, training programs and humanitarian aid to help build vibrant schools and communities where all children can realise their full potential.

To further the science of ornithology and the study of wild birds, especially in Leicestershire, Leicester City & Rutland; to promote the protection of wild birds and their conservation; to provide facilities for persons interested in ornithology; to meet and exchange ideas and information and to catalogue and document public information gained in the study of birds.

The declared objectives of the Society are to promote science and art through photography and in particular:1. To arrange lectures and demonstrations2. To promote and sponsor competitions and exhibitions3. To maintain a permanent collection of the outstanding work of members

Pathfinders Camp is an annual event that brings together people with, and without, disabilities in order to enjoy a week's camping holiday. Established in 1956 it caters mainly for women aged 18 and over. Around a hundred "Pathfinders" gather in August each year, to share in a holiday based upon a philosophy that encourages everyone to participate in, and share, camp life together.

(1) To promote and protect the physical and mental health of sufferers of Motor Neurone Disease (MND) and their families by the provision of grants of financial assistance.(2) To advance the education of the public by supporting research into Motor Neurone Disease (MND) and disseminating the useful results for the public benefit.
