The Academy is an information and education charity that exists to encourage the study, imrpove the practice and advance the knowledge of Forensic Sciences in Science, Medicine and the Law.

Religious. Promotion of Christian Science. Holding of Church Services. Provision of a Reading Room where Christian Science literature can be purchased and studied including the study of a weekly bible lesson.

Our aim is to support the advancement of medical research into the causes, treatments, and potential cures for all types of cancer. We plan to do so by directly funding the individuals and projects pioneering cutting edge cancer research in the UK

To advance the education of children and young people aged 3-19 primarly, but not exclusively, residing in the Kingston upon Hull and its environs through providing supplementary education consistent with primary and secondary level based on Polish Ministry of Education and Science's core curriculum concerning primarly the Polish language, history, geography, art, culture and Polish heritage.

The objectives of the Society are to stimulate public understanding of the sciences, including natural, physical, social and archaeological sciences, through lectures, grants, sponsorship and educational activities. The Society runs an annual series of around 20 public lectures, and maintains an interest in the Yorkshire Museum and Gardens, York, which it originally founded in the 1820s.
