Voluntary inland search and rescue across West Cornwall and support to other teams and emergency services across the wider UK

WOMA provides small grants to individual women in Africa who have been disadvantaged through HIV/Aids, famine or war. The grants are used to pay for practical training to better equip the women to find work and support their families.

The objects of the Charity are, for the public benefit:To foster bonds between the Holy Land and the World through Emergency relief, Humanitarian and medical assistance for all those in need, the preservation and development of the artistic, archaeological and cultural heritage of the Holy Land, and through Education and assistance to build hope for a future of peace and development for all.

The rescue and the preservation of life of persons injured or stranded underground and to assist other emergency services, including other cave rescue groups and mountain rescue teams.

We aim to prevent drowning, promote water safety & safe enjoyment of water activities. We give training in personal survival, water safety, lifesaving & life support to all ages. We provide lifeguard & first aid services to water sport & leisure events eg rowing regattas, sea swims etc. We run in-shore rescue boats, paddle craft with mobile first aid equipped with medical oxygen & defibrillator.

The relief and assistance of people who are victims of natural disaster, trouble, or catastrophe2.To advance education for the benefit of the public in particular but not exclusively by building schools and providing access to educational facilities such as libraries.3. The relief of sickness and the preservation of health by providing or assisting in the provision of healthcare projects

1) To advance the Christian religion in any part of the world.2) To promote and support the charitable work of evangelical Christian mission.3) To relieve need in any part of the world where people are suffering distress as a result of natural disaster or by reason of their social and economic conditions, by any method recognised as charitable in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.

The Councils objects are to relieve suffering and distress amongst persons and animals endangered by accidents or natural hazards by co-ordinating and providing support for member underground search and rescue organisations and individuals representing the Council in the British Isles and abroad.

Education of the public and members of the regiment in the history and military accomplishments of the regiment by public exhibition of the collection in a museum. Restoration, conservation, repair, reconstruction and preservation of objects in the collection.

Being a church our first objective is the preaching of the gospel of our Lord and saviour Jesus Christ within our local community. Whether it be by services or Sunday school youth groups, youth & children activities, taking morning assemblies in the local school. Services to the elderly in nursing homes, financial support to overseas missionary work in developing nations, famine/earthquake appeals

- Open Air preachings are held in Bramhall town centre every Friday at 12.30 p.m.- Manchester city centre, St Ann's Square daily at 12.30 p.m., members of both the Bramhall and Woodsmoor congregations regularly attend these, preach and distribute gospel tracts - General care of elderly neighbours- Congregation members assist the emergency services and general public in times of disaster

RAISES MONEY BY RUNNING VARIOUS ANNUAL EVENTS (CYCLE FOR LIFE, STREET COLLECTION AND HOSPITAL FETE) AND OTHER AD HOC EVENTS. DONATES PROCEEDS TO EAST ANGLIAN AIR AMBULANCE, LEAGUE OF FRIENDS OF BECCLES HOSPITAL AND OTHER LOCAL, MEDICALLY-RELATED CHARITIES, NATIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL APPEALS FOR EMERGENCY AID AND LOCAL APPEALS FOR HELP FOR POOR OR DISADVANTAGED PEOPLE.

To relieve financial hardship, distress and suffering among poor people, victims of natural and man-made disasters, other people in need and to advance education.

Primarily help find and rescue to a place of safety members of the public that go missing and are considered life in danger. Provide a specialist team for the local community by responding to requests from the Police, the Local Authority and other emergency services; Ensure that all that engage with us, receive courteous, friendly and a high-quality professional service.

HOST ANNUAL REUNION AND AGMTO ENCOURAGE MEMBERS TO PARTICIPATE IN ANNUAL EVENTS SUCH AS:-CHURCH PARADE AND SERVICE AT HM TOWER OF LONDONRMP SERVICE AT NMARMP OPENING OF THE FIELD OF REMEMBRANCE RMP SERVICE AT FIELD OF REMEMBRANCE RBL PARADE ON REMEMBRANCE SUNDAY SUPPORTING MEMBERS AND THEIR FAMILIESTO ACT AS ASSISTANCE TO MEMBERS SEEKING SUPPORT BY USING COBSEO ROUTE OR PATHWAYS

Provide relief and assistance to Tamil orphans in Sri-Lanka who are victims of war or natural disaster and promote good education. Relief poverty of the Tamils in the UK and Sri-Lanka. Also promote and protect good health through the provision of counselling and by helping the Tamil Catholic Chaplaincy (UK) with its pastoral care when requested.

Quba Welfare Charity works to relieve poverty Internationally. Our main work involves providing emergency aid in disaster stricken areas around the world. We also provide long term sustainable projects which benefit on going benefits to those in need.

THE PRINCIPAL OBJECTIVE OF THE ROTARY CLUB OF SHIPLEY IS TO UNDERTAKE FUNDRAISING ACTIVITIES AND TO DISTRIBUTE THE MONIES RAISED TO A RANGE OF LOCAL CHARITABLE ORGANISATIONS, TO ROTARY FOUNDATION AND THROUGH ROTARY INTERNATIONAL AND ROTARY DISTRICT APPEALS, TO A RANGE OF PROJECTS INCLUDING WORLD DISASTERS AND FAMINE RELIEF. We raise money from various activities such as marshalling fun runs, having stalls at local carnivals, acting as Santa's and helpers at Christmas. We then spend all of the money raised in the community and on national and International appeals. We help individuals, local Charities and International causes and disasters

UKLSI was established in 2003 (Charity in 2011) by members from Lowland Search and Rescue (SAR) teams to teach and share best practise in lowland vulnerable missing person search. UKLSI members are unpaid volunteers from the Instructors to the chefs to the course administrator and are operationally active in their county SAR teams. 12 search courses delivered annually to SAR volunteer students.

Community Hall for people within the community to hold group activities, meetings for the local committees that need facilities, including our local councillors, police

The Trust supports Local Community organisations and selected Organisations operating in overseas countries and disaster areas.Funds to support these activities are raised from members donations and fund-raising events in the local area.

Friends of Bulgaria provides humanitarian aid to Bulgaria focusing on improving the quality of life of disadvantaged children and young people through fund-raising raising initiatives and events. Financial grants are awarded by the Committee to Bulgarian NGOs and institutions on the basis of project proposals.
